  1. Name this little Four Door Hatchack...
  2. Well I LOVE the HHR, esp. the SS... even though IMHO it needs a chrome grille. (Caddy-V stlye mesh?) The Caliber, SRT4 or not, is UUUUUUUGLEEE. THe nose, ass & bulbous fender flares look horrible while it has one of the WORST greenhouses of all time. I think the Caliber is a case study in ugly. Not one line is appealing to me, it's as if the Honda Ridgeline "designers" were in charge of designing a 5-door CRX but they had to use parts bin tooling from 1992 Hyundais.
  3. How about rollover ratings?
  4. hanger
  5. That '62 is probably my favorte generaton...
  6. I already HAVE Dynaflow... and you did a good job on my list. SOmeone once told me a picture is worth a thousand words...
  7. $h!, that sucks. I wish I had advice but.... being a complicated issue I have none.
  8. next up... in 2010: Toyota Recalls 11.4 million vehicles.
  9. So let me get this straight, previous customers of the Highlander BOUGHT a TOYOTA "crossover" Camry Wagon despite its lask of: 1. style 2. space 3. horsepower Why the hell DID they buy it!?!?! Ever heard of a test drive? I guess CR must have brainwashed them into thinking the double-hulahoop T logo on the grille means = JUST BUY IT!
  10. I bet the retard who cut him off was driving some Euro-Ford or Hon-duh.
  11. I felt like I HAD to share this, what with our recent conversations on C&G about bad drivers, bad driving skills, crashed Inifiniti QX56 and all the talk of Toyota drivers who should really NOT be car owners so much as bus pass owners... This was posted on Buick-59.com by a getleman in the UK who has a 1959 Buick Invicta nicknamed "Ruth".
  12. Yup... I pretty much agree with everything posted. The LEAST annoying are the speeders, they get the hell out of my way, stay out of my way and act as a mine-sweeper for 5.0 on the highway... sure you can speed at 95 mph ahead of me in a 55mph zone, that just ensures I cen set my cruise to 79 & not worry about getting bagged-n-tagged. I've never understood (esp. for this reason) why people do not surrender the passing lane, WTF? It's almost as if some people do it on purpose! Perhaps it's some bull$hit "citizens arrest" type load of crap where they WANT you to slow down.
  13. A+ predictable but very nice nonetheless. Me too. It's like "Chernobil Grass Green", or "Ghostbusters Slime Green"
  14. Eddie Griffins are never good drivers.
  15. HAHAHAHAAH Touche V.Seattle.
  16. Well I wish Toyota owners were 0.000001% more selective than: "I need a car with four wheels"
  17. Well thanks guys. As I said I was respectful but factual.
  18. Aaaaaaaaaaaaanyway you know that Kodiak 4500 I mentioned, the way I priced one out the other day it would be in the mid-$60Ks so that's a BIG chunk of profit for GM, even if I bought two BMWs after that I'd still be making a bigger contribution to GM. Trucks are BIG profit for GM, esp. the commercial stuff. Although hypothetically, in our hypothetical example the truck would be free? a prize?
  19. Gorgeous. Absolutely stunning. And what's under the skin* is even more beautiful! * Longitudinally mounted pushrod V8, RWD & sohisticated Zeta chassis.
  20. bella
  21. For Chrissake Fly, you get the point. I said (hypothetically) if I was LOADED I'd buy several GM cars/trucks and ONE German one. Let's not forget the many Lexus, Honda & Acura owners on this site. I'm pretty darn obsessed with GM but I'm not a blind sheep... I've only ever sold GM products (new) and of the dozens of cars I've had 90% of them have been GM. But if my girlfriend/wife to be wants a BMW M5 and I can afford it I'm not going to say NO. An M5, ANY M5 or BMW 5-series for that matter is one of the coolest, best performing, best styled and nicest luxury cars (sport sedans) of the past three decades or so... if she's not diggin' the STS and wants a BMW instead then the way I see it is better a BMW than a Toyota ES350 or a FWD Euro-Honda TL...
  22. Sebring Sonata is right! This is a seriously GROSS, disgustingly horific styling trend that only adds to the gross disproportionate lines, non-continuous, double negative line, and lack thereof on these Japanese cars today. The Camry, Impala and many others have these "glass tumors"...
  23. Yes I do remember the Avenger now that you mention it. Also there was a skelleton of a some torpedo bomber from WWII at some tiny airport in New Hampshire. Back in 1994 or maybe 1995 I got to fly in a Cessna 172 with my dad's boss, even briefly got to "man" the controls which was about as exiting as my life got up untill later when I lost my V-card and got to ride in a Ferrari. We landed at a few airports in the lakes region of N.H. and I remember in a dusty, discombobulated hanger there were the remains of what looked like a WWII era Torpedo Bomber, even had the blue/gray paint scheme over what was left of the airframe. Might have also been an Avenger.... Anyway here's the video of the B-17G starting up those 1200 horsepower Wright-Cyclone 9-cylinder radials. You can hear the B24 tailgunner talking in the first few seconds. I have nothing but respect for those veterans! Here's a few of my photos of Aluminum Overcast. Another interesting plane at the airport that day: (Vietnam Era? Cessna 02A reconnisance) XP: here's your nose art: (not my photo)
  24. Russian Street Racing (old video, classic though!) 4 Ferraris street racing:
