  1. Crazy. I for one am happy to see RWD cars made even by manufacturers I'll never buy cars from. Funny to think this car has the Hyundai Pony as it's closest relative.
  2. Oozing as in what? The way puss leaks out of an infected wound?
  3. GM: 1973 Ford: 1969 Mopar: 1978

Pretty silly April Fools joke, althought the Acadaia IS too soft and femmy for GMC. Then again most of todays cars are too soft and vagina-oriented for my tastes, nevermind unibody "trucks". (pick/ups & suvs)
  5. Drop the SL2, Aura & Aurora. Those have no business on this list. The SRX is a great vehicle but also does not belong here. I'd replace those four with the following: - 4th gen. F-body - 1993-1997 Cadillac STS (the Aurora just plays second fiddle) - Duramax Diesel powered Pickups - Sky/Solstice
  6. People in glass houses... sink ships! [/boondock saints] "More useless than a $h! flavored popcycle" "Dumber than a box of rocks" "Your problem is you need a bigger hammer" "Do a burnout... do it" (inside joke about our friend who really IS a few beers short of a six-pack) That's a classic.
  7. Are the rumors true that Hasselhoff is planning a KNIGHT RIDER movie? There's a poster floating around on MySpace that has a generic looking car almost like the red Pontiac Banchee look alike that they used in the made for TV movie. If they ever doresurect Kniht Rider the car better be a 2002 Trans Am WS6.
  8. Holden is GM in every way possible, more so than Saturn or Suzuki or Isuzu or SAAB.... To say it's just a subsidiary is like saying Ford of Europe is not Ford.
  9. Yeah... not exactly a high point in Oldsmobile history. FWD really is a plague that has ravaged the Automotive landscape.
  10. Fly: That sucks, 1st gen. Maximas are nearly non-existant up here. I love the damn things. Inline Six mounted north-south just as God intended, a 5-speed manual & of course, RWD. Balthazar: I hope it was mechanical but it could have just been a dumb salesman who ran it out of gas, it happens at every dealership from time tio time. Every time a salesman at Chevrolet of Lowell got intom a vehicle with low gas they'd be like: "eh.. it's fine... there's always a bit left in the tank" Well, not if the last three people before you also thought the same thing, jackass.
  11. Wow... that sucks. Sorry to hear that. You do not make a compelling case for FWD Mopar durrability. Seriously though you need to cut your losses with that Shadow... instead of putting another $1000 in repairs into it over the next year just cut it loose at Holland's Junkyard for $200 and then buy a MINT condition one for $1200 out of the want ad. Geez you can buy one with 7000 miles and the plastic on the seats still for like $1500 these days. They're hovering at the same kind of prices as the Corsica, Topaz, Cutlass Calais & Pontiac 6000.
  12. Wow... choosing the W-body GP over the upcoming Zeta G8 is a lot like buying a 1963 Falcon six-cylinder 4-dr before those stupid, over rated Mustangs ruin everything.
  13. A truck (pickup or SUV) on huge OFF ROAD tires makes sense. this thing is useless like a $h! flavored popcycle. What did that poor G-body Regal do to anyone to deserve that...
  14. If you get some one-on-one time with him you might want to ask what he thinks about the hundreds of coverups here in the states involving molsted kids. Every time a priest was exposed as having sexually abused a child he was moved to another parish and the whole process repeated itself. Disgusting. I for one am glad that my parents were not too religious, or it could have happened to me. There were dozens of priests here in just the Boston area that molested hundreds of kids. Sorry to spout negativity but I have lost all respect for any amount of religion. I'm spirtual but not religious.
  15. chips
  16. Marmalade... kind of like "Pearl Jam"
  17. They're pretty cool, esp. becuase they're hardtops.
  18. 75% of the Scions I see are driven by people who were alive durring the depression. Scion is NOT some runaway Gen-Y success. Sorry.
  19. I'd love to visit the Vatican but ave lost any/all respect for my faith. (Roman Catholicism)
  20. Last gen. Cadillac Deville Flower Car. It flew past me on Memorial Drive, too fast to even make a grab for the camera. It was black, natrually & has a rolled back toneau cover on the back that looked like a convertible top on a 1980s VW Cabriolet. Very nice clean conversion. Much less exciting, a brand new Rolls Royce on Rt. 495
  21. I feel numb right now, and it'xs not only because of my medication for my wisdom teeth. This trend is proof that humanity is coming to an end.
  22. SOLD for $225 to a kid from Pepperell, MA. It seems I've been going about this all wrong. My serious listings for the '64 Olds, '97 Caddy and the other junk I sell have never gotten this kind of quick and positive response. The kid asked me weather we could empty out the $hit out of the bed of the truck.... it was a bunch of trash like the interior out of my 1987 Mercury Topaz GS demolition derby car from last year. I was like for $225 you get to go on a roadtripm to you local Wal*Mart and get rid of the stuff yourself. O'Shea handed off the title and hooked me up with the fog lights as a commision, being the gentleman & scholar he is.
  23. I'm not so sure that the GNX is a bad deal at $100,000. Id pay that before I'd buy any POS beater musclecar at Barrett Jackson for $700,000 just becuase it has a 426 HEMI and is painted SubLime. Still cars are meant to be driven, not stored and looked at, this thing will probably never see a road, ever. That's sad... if I could buy it I would drive the doors off of it, I'd treat it with respect and maintain it as it should be but also enjoy the swoosh of the turbo.
  24. Thanks guys, I actually got several emails on the truck already. One dude just emailed me "best, most honest listing EVER"
  25. A better questio is why does a Quad4 powered Grand Am GT need FOUR exhaust tips? I love the styling of these Grand Ams tough, always have.
