  1. Agreed! With the kind of cars I drive snow tires are not a neccessity but if you have a RWD Porsche or a BMW of some sort with 11" wide tires a set of snow tires will allow them to bite where the car's perf. oriented pirellis might not be the best choice for 18" of snow. I'd love to have an Acura NSX for a winter beater... just to see people cringe as a set of snow tires on steelies spray salt, slush and sand all over the rear quarters. Maybe a plow truck would T-bone the car & I'd get KBB on it. Then I'd buy it back from the insurace co. & have it crushed by a Junkyard & use the aluminum cube for a coffee table.
  2. Yeah... Toyota is about as American as the Mitshubishi Zero scap metal that's sitting at the bottom of Pearl Harbor. Toyota is a lot like Disco, it peeked in the 1970s and now in 2007 it's in poor taste and out of style. Never had any substance either.
  3. IN the end it's not about Ford vs. Chevy anymore... Both the blue oval and Bow Tie are great cars for the $$$. It's about USA versus the Japanese now. It's about f%*king Toyota, Lexus, Scion, Honda & Acura now. I have nothing against a Charger SRT8 or a Mustang GT.
  4. Technology like the SR71 was conceived in the late 1950s and you think that they're not working on things greater and more advanced than we can even imagine... Hydrogen WILL be the solution, as far as H20 vapor being a "greenhouse gas" I'm 99.9999% sure even Al Gore owuld think it's a lesser of the two evils.
  5. Screw the Volt. I don't like its styling or concept much. Hydrogen will be the soution, untill then if you feel the need to save gas buy a 5-sp Cobalt.
  6. What does this have to do with the Z06... that was a regular C6. And yes, that broad was f@#king annoying.
  7. FlyBrain seems a little testy today...
  8. Hey... who's calling me eccentric!?!?!
  9. A point system for how much of a looser you are. These punks need to get a hobby.
  10. Awsome. I've always said if I have my own business I'll reward employees for owning/leasing GM product, or perhaps even just any of the big-three.
  11. My sig. is a 1960 Imperial Southampton.
  12. Ehhh... time is relative.
  13. That's bull$h!. I've seen plenty of GTOs here in New Enagland driving over packed snow. I'd love to have a Holden GTO for a winter car!
  14. I would not buy one if they gave me a $15,000 rebate!
  15. Yard
  16. Like I've said 1000 times... it took Jeep almost seven decades to put 4 doors on their best selling product. It's a no-brainer. YES!
  17. Agreed O.B. OnStar is cool but having the ablity to pinpoint my location within a few feet makes me a little uneasy.
  18. That's all Honda should make is the Civic, CRX, motorcycles, lawnmowers, generators, weedwhackers & such... & beyond my hate for FWD & 4-bangers I hate the styling of 90% of their lineup these days.
  19. As a young kid growing up in Europe... Porsche 911 Turbo. Widebody, Whale-tail, air-cooled flat-six, RWD, the most winningest race cars of all time... what's not to love? After we moved to the USA in the late 80s: 1969 Camaro.
  20. charger
  21. I love how they always advertise with photos of RWD, V8/V10 powered F1 cars but their production cars are a bunch of FWD economy cars that are idolized by ghetto rats & the 4-cylinder S2000. Honda is so lame, their lineup was relevant in 1989, now they're just the 2nd largest producer of 4-wheeled appliances.
  22. The styling is very unoriginal. Nothing new since 1995.
  23. Awsome, good for you.
