Interior pic of the 2009 camaro!!! :omfg:
Either way, in the production version the seatbelt will probably be seat-mounted like the 1989 SL500 and the subsequent GM cars that have Seat-mounted shoulder belts. Please God, make sure GM does not half-ass the Camaro & the B-pillar is nothing but a piece of rubber that drops down with the rear glass. If Mercedes can do it with the CL550's HUGE rear glass & the CLK's short WB than there is no efin excuse!!!

Tales from the carwash
- DCX seeks sale of Chrysler to...GM?
I guess it's all silly to even discuss... my point was that the 300C/Charger are about the only cars that I care about from DCX, but yes, I agree the LS-series V8s are more valuable, and have a lot more stayig power than the semi-HEMIs. Still I think almost all non-LX Chryslers are lame, including the Minivans. They suck in terms or transmission problems like 99% of FWD Mopars. It's been a quarter century and it seems Chrysler still can't make a FWD trans, that will last more than 40,000 miles. Forget bad interiors, crappy transmissions are still the biggest reason why Mopars have a poor reputation, they keep saying the problem is fixed but I've been hearing that since the late 1980s.- Tales from the carwash
Do you at least get a free Carwash for the "UNIBODY" Comanchee once a day?- Snow!

The 16's motor is still the best looking motor EVER! Yes... those plastic engine covers are lame! Same with the Infiniti's stupid plastic cover and the STS's cover. Maybe GM will get a clue and stop wasting money on these stipid things. Hell put the money into making the greenhouse a hardtop, better looking interiors, more unique rims etc...- So I started my engine on fire...now what?
Wow.... never, ever run a car while you're gasing up, never mind adding fluids & screwing around underhood. I am often the "wet blanket" when I yell at people for not turning off thier motors. Engine fires are scary as $hit. Good luck with your motor, have it steam cleaned and rewire any and all loose/burned wires. Also, I'd get rid of the car if it was me.- Camino, found a Camino for you...
That Benz is kind of cool, too bad they hacked up a hardtop SEC to make it... If the car was in the northeast I'd swear I knew who made it. My friend Song (the crazy Korean) likes to stuff 454s into EVERYTHING and he's got a 560SEC that I almost bought off of him a couple times. Anyone who's seen his Hmm-Burban will tell you he likes to *cough* fabricate one-ff stuff.- Our Driveway...
Fly: I'd rather "sell out" & buy a Japanese daily driver for me & Marcia that's RWD than buy another FWD moneypit just to say I have a Cadillac. RWD is much more fun to drive, it is much better in terms of durrability, ease of maintenance, and looks much better. (I hate FWD proportions) Not to mention as awsome as the STS looks, since it is a rare exception to above rule, its roofline is VERY annoying when you have to deal with car seats & getting a toddler in & out. The Q45's taller roofline and larger rear doors make it a MUCH better family car. Things were different back in 2002 when I bought my STS. Now I know why they go for penie$ on the dollar used. But if I HAD to have another FWD luxury sedan with repair bills as drastic as the STS then I'd much rather actually HAVE a Cadillac and not a Buick. That's just me. I also resent the Lucerne because now that the novelty of its design has worn off the Park Ave is a much better car, I actually tried to "settle" for a Park Ave Ultra but Marcia did NOT like it for its conservative styling and grandma stigmata. Same with all the B-dody siblings, Roadmaster, Caprice Classic, Fleetwood Brougham, not to mention the Grand Marquis, Crown Vic. (she's not a Ford fan either) So she was shooting down all my ideas & wanted another STS over all the above mentioned. The Q45 was the 1st car I found she was happy with as well as I. That's called a compromise. SHe would have been hapy with a B-body Impala SS but those were scarce and either beat to hell or out of our price range.- Super-Crumple-Zones!
LOL that's a funny one... forgot about that. I like French Bread, it's good stuff. Renault, not so much.- Word Association

I know it's pretty horrible but I thought it could be a quick stop-gap for now. Made it on Paint Shop Pro... so yeah, it is what it is.- LS3 in LS2 out?
I guess so.... I've got nothing against Chains but still a synchro gear is even more durrable. I've never heard tis, makes sense but from my understanding the tolerance on timing does not factor is rubber band effect in the case of chains... does it? Yeah... well you DO realize the Dirty Japanse put those frikkin rubber bands in there instead of chains to MAKE sure you have to replace it within X amount of milage. That's like saying "well $hit so you blew a head gasket in your Nortstar... it only costs $15 for a replacement...." Ummm.... okay so you going to give me the $1300 for the repair since it will take about 20 bloody effin hours to replace said head gasket???? Saying a rubber timing belt is fine because it only costs $20 is very shortsighted! Shortlived? Is the W8 dead? At any rate as cool as it was it's another retarded motor in terms of maintenance.- DCX seeks sale of Chrysler to...GM?
5-cylinder diesel vans are better suited for the EU than the USA but the Sprinter is not the issue. 1. Where was the G8 TWO YEARS AGO when the Charger hit the streets? 2. Dude... never in a million years in an alternate universe would I buy a Lucerne over a 300C. Never. The Lucerne is quite lame IMHO.- Transformers Update
I might buy the Camaro for Sofia... yeah that's it... for... Sofia.- How to make a grown man cry
As horrible as that is (yes it makes me want to cry) it's not as bad as if it was a 1963 Corvette Z06... or some 1930s Classic car since there's plenty of those owned by Middle Eastern Shieks.- I cannot believe this, lmao, i cant stop laughing
Yeah... Chezoom was ubber cool. To compare that abomination to Chezoom is like comparing Carmen Electra to a cardboard cutout .... of Courtney Love- What is your next car purchase? revisited...
Still working on buying that 1959 Buick... but first I need to sell the 1964 Olds. Right now this is my driveway: (carports) -1964 Oldsmobile Super 88 Holiday -1984 Datsun 810 Maxima -1997 Cadillac STS (will be parted out soon) -1997 Infiniti Q45 (G/F) And here's how I hope it looks in about a year: -1930s Rat Rod -1959 Buick LeSabre -1977 Chevrolet Nova (250, 3-speed) -1996 Chevy Impala SS (G/F)- Our Driveway...
