  1. Wow... no joke? Damn people in the early 20th century hated change huh? Great story but still, placing the radiator there MAKES zero sense. Maybe in the Yukon or Siberia it makes sense but not in France!
  2. Right. LOCKED rear ends are not very street friendly.
  3. Wow... awsome. Forget 20" rims, those gloss black steelies & dog dish caps mean business!
  4. RWD Torana & G6??? Bring it on! (how about a Chevy Nova or Chevelle too...?)

  6. Well geeze, I guess I'm no longer the virgin/nerd I was back in college. Now that I read this thread I guess I should include my cigar habbit.
  7. Because I'd rather not see 33% of what's left of the American Automotive Industry go down the toilet. I'd much rather see Toyota/Lex/Sci, HondAcura, Mitshubishi, Kia/Hyundai & VW all go out of Business than to loose Mopar. Oldsmoboi's last point is 75% of the reason WHY I feel that way. FLY: You think the Liberty Patriot & Caliber have redeming value but the Charger, Magnum & 300 do not matter?!?!?!
  8. This thread has more White Elephants than an LSD trip.
  9. Am I stuck in bizzaro world or something?
  10. Yes... too much overlap. Way too much. Jeep vs. Hummer is a BIG rivlary these days. I certainly do not see them merging... but I guess stranger things have happened I suppose. It would be almost as weird as a GM-Ford partnership.
  11. Just like the original it will be much lower volume than the Camaro, never mind the Mustang.
  12. I wonder how much bondo it took to "fabricate" this? I bet that's how the y eliminated the dor seams.
  13. Looks a lot better than the curent 9\5 with its "dork boy" chrome reading glasses.
  14. It's too bad being a good samaritan got you a negative response like that.

  16. Well... (adding fuel to the fire) Skoda is Slovakian for "mishap" or "error" Our nickname for Skodas in the home country was "Embecka" which was a play on words based on it's town of manufacture. As far as the Gaz 21, if I wanted a crappy '50 Ford I'd buy a crappy '50s Ford, not a cheap '60s copycat of it from Russia. Maybe the KGB V8 had some balls (probably not) but if you honestly think that those cars had more redeming value than Skodas then good luck to ya.
  17. Skodas from the 60s & 70s were a lot less crappy than a typical econobox from behind the iron curtain from that era, say what you will but they made some really interesting cars back in the day... rear engined, RWD & super space efficient while easy to work on. Even though the motors are transverse mounted they were very accesible and esay to work on. Honestly what would you rather have? Skoda? or a Trabant? Wartburg? Volga? Yugo? or perhaps a Zastava? Yeah...
  18. It's been a week and a half, what's the hold-up guys?
  19. Skodas sucked for one reason and one reason ONLY: COMMUNISM. Pre WWII CzechoSlovakian cars, weapons and other technology were not only world class but in many cases futuristic and cutting edge at the same time. The Communist concept of no competition & a complete lack of outside influence or regulation was a pretty bad way to run an automotive company. The communist way of doing things was such a flippin joke anything and everything was done with bribes and plentiful stupidity.
  20. Crazy. Is this the same B&N where we hung out in 2005?
  21. Last but not least.... here's a few French cars. French cars are a joke in and of themselves but here's some pics. just for $hits & giggles!
  22. Finally! Can't wait to see it.
  23. Let's not forget to bash Italian Cars in this thread.
  24. Very True! Don't forget a true manual trans. available.
  25. That Corolla lady sounds like it might have been Miss Swan. She was probably all: "It looka like a kar wash no go but car go bumpie, " From the stories you told me there's at least 3 people who went through your car wash who should NOT have driver's licenses, and probbaly should wear a helmet when they go for a jog or a brisk walk.
