I'll bet anyone on this Forum $20 that before I ever need to do a major repair to Datsun Zwei Satty's Fusion will be either rolled at highway speeds or otherwise totalled in a violent way. :wink: All joking aside 3.1V6 Malibu, Sebring, (that hidden battery sux though) Even Contorus are not the most horrible cars compared to many imports if you're into FWD econobricks. These days there should be a million W-bodys out there in good shape, under 100K mi for less than $6,000.

Holy mother of god... anyone else notice the dark (black? navy blue?) 1964 Oldsmobile 4-dr post??? The Volvos, Hondas, Fords and French cars I'd gladly throw on ebay without a care but the American classics, Lotuses, Porsches & obscure '30s stuff I'd love to keep!

Yeah... it's a bit long (1/2hr or so) but I learned a few things. I thought blaming Jets, Coal & Cars for the famine in Africa was a bit too much. Granted it is a horible tragedy when people starve but I've always been bothered by the fact that they do not use any birth controol & have three dozen kids and then they hold their hand out. Here's an idea: Don't over populate and if you live in a crappy area that has no food then move to a better place. Granted that's not possible for many of them but their defeatist attitude sucks.

Cadillac's systems seem to be about as good as they get... my Infiniti Q45's system sucks. Honestly from the sound of the article my Infiniti's system is almost as bad, but with one huge difference: I can turn it off COMPLETELY. The other day I turned it off and got a running start up our steep driveway and pretty much powerslid into my spot. The Datsun is a stick and it does not have any B.S. electronics like ETC or what not.

Hmmm.... Ford Fusion or Toyota Tundra? I'm not a fan of either but I might go for the Toyota based on the BOF, RWD & V8 power. The Ford does not appeal to me at all. It's not even at all appealing to me cosmetically. Looks like a riced out Jetta.

Yeah... I've seen the Chebby Trans Sport in person too. One of my uncle's in Slovakia has a legit Trans Sport. He imported an early 90s one and installed custom VW headlights and some sleeker fog lights.

Sounds like you need to dump that car. How many miles do you guys have on it these days? I've bought cars for the equivelant of a couple of your last repairs that have lasted me for several months without any repairs.

Oh my Lord. That is one of the most horrific accidents I've seen photos of, that image of the child seat is spine-chilling for me. It's almost the exact same one I have in my car for Sofia. I can not even begin to imagine the amount of grief the families will be dealign with in the next weeks/months/years. I'm so sorry Aaaantoine. I still find it funny that a REAR biased vehicle pushed your FWD car. How typical. Must suck having a big gash on a brand new car... at least the truck did not slip and push in your trunklid or tail lights. The other day I pushed my Super 88 with the Maxima II and put a tiny scuff on the bumper but if you knew how much I payed for "Datsun Zwei" you'd laugh. Probably less than one of your payments.

My friend Mike, who worked for a Limousine manufacturer in the 1980s has told me a few interesting stories about his Lincoln and Cadillac experiences... if even 25% of what he told me is true then I think it is safe to say that the "C-body" Cadillacs were the absolute worst of any era of Cadillacs ever. Some people like to say the BustleBack was the worst Cadillac ever and there's no doubt that the C!marron was a $hitpile in a lot of ways but in the end they at least did not tarnish one of Cadillac's most perstegious names. This are some "special" Cadillacs... I guess to me a 22-way power seat and italian leather do not make up for embarassing mediocrity in terms of mechanicals, styling & quality!
