  1. Wow... very cool! And it's a stick, you have just jumped to an all out "super-cool" status in my book. Cummins TD + 5-speed = BULLET-PROOF. CONGRATS.
  2. Hmmmm... cool. If it was RWD, I'd hit it.
  3. Thank You, Sir... I actually took that shot myself, it was in Boston this past April. As I was taking that photo XP was chillin' in the background on the steps of the convention center... a few minutes later we found a sticker face down on the cement that said "All Natrual Beef"... it was meant to go on a package of hot dogs but we drove around lookimg for a weird car to stick it on, and settled for a new Porsche Cayene. Ah... good times! BV: did you take that shot or is that you driving?
  4. LOL @ the thread. S-Penguin: new phone number = 978 (old 7-digit house number PLUS 284,008)
  5. I'm with YellowJacket... the only reason the 2006 W-bodys do not plain flat out suck is three simple reasons: 1. They're not made by Honda 2. THey're not made by Toyota 3. They're Domestic, and GM to boot Other then that I have absolutely no reason to ever want to rent one or even ride in one, and I'll never buy one since, as most of you know I'd rather get a RWD Japanese/German car then sell out to a car who's crank sits sideways like in some $h!ty economy car with a four banger. My guess... based on GM's history: They'll shoot for April/May of 2008 as a 2009 and it will launch like Nov. of 2008, (as a 2009.)
  6. Fan-Effin-Tastic! Boo-Yeah!
  7. Agreed... or the ones that do come have such bizzare personality traits that you DO NOT want to hook up with them for fear of getting fed into a wood chipper. Werid Gee-Bees.
  8. Pick one of these if you wish... Thanks in advance. (the day I brought the Super 88 home... right it was being ramped up) One of my favorite shots of the Q45. I love big a$$es. Mafia eh...? This is a vehicle a real Mobster from the 1960s might be familiar with.
  9. Two famous car movies, one manufacturer, same color but in one movie the car is a hardtop 2dr while the other one the car in question is a much less fancy, boring old 4 door sedan post. What movies & cars am I talking about?
  10. Camino got it! Congrats, good job. http://www.chaparralcars.com/2e.php There's your RoadRunner logo...
  11. Past few days I've had a few Camrys piss me off... one particular 97/98 was driven by a blind moron, I swear.

Wow... best of luck with that. I know the timing is screwed if it is yours and you're way young but brining the miracle of life into this world should never seem like a terrible thing. I used to think the two greatest things in this world were cars & women, but then I realised parenthood can be the best of all. God, I sound like some old fart.
  13. The things you miss when you stay away from C&G for a few days... Tempting, VERY tempting. I've seen that pic. on ebay too for sure. That Imperial Crown, Coronet & esp. Caddy V12 are all gorgeous in their own right.
  14. I'll see it so I can judge it for myself. Never seen the whole thing, the parts I saw were awsome and kept me interested.
  15. Japanese Food Not really a guilty pleasure since it's healthy but since I despise most Japanese cars it seems I have to give the disclaimer. Seriously I think Japanese cars are mostly cr@p but certain Japanese FOOD is awsome. Susji esp. Farkas: How about Oldsmobile SUPER 88s?
  16. That's either the BEST or the WORST idea I've ever heard... seriously.
  17. Here's a great trio of movies to watch back-to-back. :alcohol: 1. 40 Year Old Virgin 2. Cable Guy 3. Duel
  18. Disgustingly unimaginative! ummm... I'd say they had a few decent ones in the 60s and 70s... for cheap $hitboxes.
  19. I like it well enough... what is ugly IMHO is the super cheap & gross looking nose on the work truck. That semi-gloss plastic reminds me of a '96 Toyota Tercel base coupe with right hand mirror delete. GROSS!
  20. HINT: Most of the cars made by this manufacturer had velocity stacks on top of Chevy V8s, mounted behind the driver.
  21. Not when they almost kill you because they have no effin clue about how to use mirrors, blinkers, headlights and/or brakes. A typical move for a Toyota driver is tyo cut you off LAST SECOND as if they were in a ruch to get to the hospital but then go 38 in a 40 for the next 7 miles all while riding their brakes. Moltar: Yes, you're absolutely right, I've been saying for years that Korean cars get three times the dents per capita.
  22. You had me up until you said that. I'd vote to keep it up. That's one of the coolest relics ever. God I'd love to have one in my front yard.
  23. I'm sorry, yes I meant Ridgeline NOT Avalanche. The past few days have been a nightmare. Between the craziness of moving into another house and getting about 30% of my required sleep I'm a bit oblivious. I envy people who have one address their whole life.
  24. I've had a Stratus twice now in Vegas myself... I'd have LOVED a Grand Cherokee instead, esp. since we took the Stratus redneck rally racing in the rocky, dusty desert just outside of Toombstone Arizona after I drove out to visit my buddy Duffy. I ended up almost rolling the damn car when I got it so sideways I punctured both passanger tires on jagged gravel at about 50mph. I got a bit messy plugging both tires with one of those tire-plug kits and I spent a lot of time rubbing out scratches before driving it back to Vegas but it was well worth it, even after I got pulled over for doing 93mph in a 55 in East Bumfuqe Arizona. That's the way to get the company back: buy full insurance & have a blast driving the car like you stole it.
  25. Do you know the city of Cambridge Mass is run by such crazy super-left idiots that their agenda for the meetings regularly consists of issues such as global warming, deforestation of the amazon & even random endangered species, none of which are/were/will ever be found in their little slab of concrete jungle. Nevermind that NONE of those issues impact the real problems of Cambridge Mass. Like... you know, pot holes, crime, traffic, overpopulation, corruption and other slightly more relevant stuff. This state is off its rocker entirely.
