  1. It was created by a random computer program to sound trnady and unoffensive. Seriously. I say: RETARDED! Yes... but the ties to the international races held there are even more relevent in temrs of it being used for a big luxury personal coupe. "Borrowed" from the Ferrari 250GTO. French general who founded the city of Detroit. Vipers (Mocasins/Rattlesnakes) as opposed to snakes like Cobras and Sea Snakes have pit glands and release a calcium agent into the bloodstream with LONG hollow fangs. The poison litteraly stops the heart. Cobras on the other hand have shorter fangs and release Neurotixin similar to a Black Widow spider. I beleive the survival chances of survival after a snakebithe from both are about the same, but the poison itself is most deadly in Sea Snakes. Except for the lame FWD V6 powered 300M all the 300-letter series cars had 300+ horsepower (gross back in the day) and this (thank god) is true for the new RWD V8 powered 300C. "Jeep" is a bastardisation (nickname ) of the acronyms G.P. which stood for General Purpose (transport) when the Jeep was developed at the begining of the U.S. involvement in WWII. The Jeep helped tremendously in the war effort both in Europe and in the Pacific. Back in Slovakia my garndfather spoke of them often when telling me war stories. In my hometown there was an old footprint of a barn that used to be in a neighbors back yard decades before I was a kid in the early 1980s. There in the center of the dirt square in the middle of the stone foundatiojn was a Jeep abandoned there in WWII and since then sunken into the dirt almost up to the headlights. I wish I had a photo fo it because I'll tell you it was quite a sight. Like something out of an outlandish tall tale.
  2. Hmmm... I'm liking the Montana the best so far.
  3. Good point Supremus. The new Z06 lacks only one thing that Exotics usually have: mid-shp-engine mounted behind the driver... btu at leqst the Corvette has an excellent reputation and great customer base. This Lexus will be loved and lusted after by high shcool kid driving Corolla Matrix Wagons wiht TRD rims... the serious enthusiasts will laugh at it in lagre numbers me-thinks.
  4. I beleive your friend is what we call... how do I put this lightly... a, umm, well you know.... Pu$$y. Tell him to suck it up and eat a gummy bear to replace the 3.5 calories he will burn off while raising or lowering the top.
  5. I am so excited about this I'm like a little school girl wiht candy in her pocket! If after seeing the Camaro concept this past Jan. you still think GM will screw things up with retro styling then I have no words for you.
  6. Actually the weight issue is a good point. SAy what you will about the old J-bodys but they're not built like a tin can.
  7. That's the thing with me.... I'll spend $10 on junkyard tires just to blow them to smitherines and rubber fragments on the back axle of my Camaro, I'll spend $10 on a bunch of Hot Wheels cars and throw them in the attic with plans of not looking at them again untill 2036, I'll even spend $10 ona medium lobster roll, so it's not like I'm super cheap beayond reason, but paying for radio... it's an akward and foreign concept to me. Same reason why I frown everytime I buy bottled water. SOme things are meant to be free.
  8. I couldn't help myself.... (I know Mustang84 will enjoy this) http://youtube.com/watch?v=3z32aKuxCEQ If you wathc the whole video you can litteraly spot the EXACT moment when big-hair bands and those Yamaha syntesisers (sp?) reached their pinacle of exuberance.
  9. That was such an Adam Sandler moment.
  10. Pontiac doesn't need "new" technology to kick Toyota's @$$, the pushrod powered GTO does a damn good job already.
  11. Actaully I drive my RWD cars in the summer too! I even drove the '68 Camaro wiht bald 12" tires through a blizzard and past a 4x4 Blazer and 4x4 Ranger that went off the road and into a ditch on different parts of Rt.495.
  12. A carb is pretty easy so swap out... adn then you have a real moster. Still muhc better years for GM than today. The lack of the B-body nevermind big-block V8s available in avarage sedans is sad.
  13. I'm pretty much with Capriceman... I love Jeeps and Hummers.Teh guy who made the video must really HATE the Jeeps crowd. SOMe of that was harsh. Really was Hitler necessary? But the best thing about the video is it made me remember that I once owned a Europe CD, remember "The final countdown". What a cool song that was. (in 1987)
  14. Some jerk with no regard for his kid's safety was doign like 80mph on a night that black-ice warnings were abundant. Driving what else? a F***ing 2000-ish Acura RL (hey it's FWD so you KNOW it'll handle black ice well ) He lost control of his car on a corner and went off the road hitting a big metal sign post. The Acura got ripped in half and two of his three sons did not survive. I'm the last one to preach about speeding, but balck ice + speed + kids do NOT mix.
  15. I'd love it if she grabbed my glass....
  16. Futureliner
  17. Yeah... not-so-hot-anymore-but-still profitable RWD cars are still tons better than gaping hole in the GM lineup that the now-6-years-absent B-body left.
  18. Wow.... I had no idea there was plans to make a Scion midsize Sedan. But seriously the Pig-snout is hideous. Toyota makes all these ugly cars but by placing the emblem in a retarded location they think they're spicing up the design I take it?
  19. That photo is out of a R&T from like 5 momths ago.
  20. 'Saturn will be like Vauxhall' Best excuse to not kill Saturn yet.
  21. This girl needs to cut the 3-rice cakes a day diet. Did you see her dimensions? "34C-23-23" Hips no wider than stomach does not do it for me.
  22. I love the current 5-series and am usually a fan of BMW but this is HORRIBLE. unexciting, bland, chubby and Lozange-shaped and unoriginal.
  23. Yes... i think I' psteed this in one of the myspace threads. My favorite part is the "Anrgy Beaver".
  24. Tractor
  25. Good, with their track record this means the Lexus just has a cold chance in hell of beating the Z06's time around Nurburing for $100,000 more. And the Evil Giant will sell tons and keep marching on.
