You definitely want one...
PS: for $44K I would own a brand new G8 GT & a solid, drivable pre-war car with patina.

You definitely want one...
There's WAY better chance that I will own a sixteen cylinder, 452 cubic inch powered car than the chances of me owning a modern SAAB. Really. +1

Fuel Economy
Actually the text you sent me, (I'm reading it as I type this) says: 38.7 mpg I always thought your milage estimates were all over the map but gave you the benefit of the doubt, but if you truly believe that a 1996 Grand marquis averaged 38.7 miles per gallon than you're just a tad delusional. Or even 36. Maybe down hill, in neutral on the pikes peek trail, with the AC off. With all due respect, use your head. No wonder your Cobalt numbers were so screwy. My parents average 28-31mpg depending on the week/time of year... you said you got like 15 or 17 or something like that... Next time try to drive the car in "DRIVE" not in "L" which stands for LOW GEAR and is intended for speeds < 20 mph and hill descents. Cobalt LS (2.2 liter ecotec) ----> 15 mpg and Grand Marquis (4.6 liter modular V8) ----> 38 MPG

I'm a PC ...
Well any of the points you're using for your argument are either too new for me to be able to give fair judgment on OR I kindly agree to disagree and/or it is irrelevant to me. Perhaps the past few years have changed things and there's been a 180* but I can certainly tell you that last time I was using both on an everyday basis Macs kicked ass and took names. Using a Mac for graphics was like using a 9C1 Caprice for a taxi cab... but using a PC for graphics was like using a fu$%ing Geo Metro Convertible for rock crawling. Either way, I'm not going to get that bent out of shape.... this is not one of my hot-buttons.

Have you ever wanted to know, who you are and where you came from
I'm 100% Slovakian. That's what happens when your parents are both 100% Slovakian and your entire family tree is contained inside 40 sq. kilometers for as far as anyone remembers/knows. Still if I had the money i would be interested to find out more about my DNA... I'm pretty northern-European looking.

Camaro SS Unveiled
I think it actually looks better, except for that Fugly glued in rear-side window and cheesy plastic bulkage on the inside of the B-pillar. My own disgust with the lack of a (fixed roof pillar-less) hardtop Camaro aside this is going to be the BEST, most exciting GM product for the MASSES in at least two decades! I love that production-ified fascia.

Firehawk Returns!
I've gotten over the 4dr Charger, esp. since Dodge now has a 2dr Challenger. Show me where I can purchase a Firebird or Trans Am....or GTO? Okay how about ANY RWD/V8/2-door Pontiac? Yeah. Exactly. You see any "Shelby-Cobra-427" emblems on a souped up Crown Vic? (yes-yes, exaggeration for effect) How about ZL1-COPO emblems on the upcoming Cruize SS sedan? Some names/monikers should not be effed with!

I'm a PC ...
In 1997 when I got to college I griped and groaned about Macs, being one who preferred PCs. After four years in college Using Macs 70% of the time I learned from experience that Macs are MORE reliable, MORE flexible, MORE user friendly, MORE intuitive... I could keep going but the point is as a holder of a Graphic Design degree, (B.A.) you are the VERY first I've ever met of our peers that prefers P.C.s. I have a feeling I KNOW what your reasons are.... and I say: If I had the know-how, tools, time & money to install a Pontiac derived 455 Super Duty/M22 in a tube chassis with 4-wheel independent suspension, and all the best mechanicals/hardware AND then draped the whole thing in a 1979 Hyundai pony fiberglass skin... I WOULD NOT USE THE END PRODUCT TO EXPLAIN WHY HYUNDAI KICKS A$$!

Firehawk Returns!
Sorry... I'm not a fan.

I'm a PC ...
DF: You, being graphic designer by trade do not like Macs? Wow... good luck wit that.
-
I'm a PC ...
It got out and a Microsoft Exec was already spinning the usual P.R. bull$h! this A.M. saying something along the lines of "sure we used Macs... we used LOTS of different hardware including some P.C.s"

PETA Urges Ben & Jerry's To Use Human Milk
Awwwww yeah, that's the real $h! right there... 100% Cambodian breast milk. - D.C. as Puff-diddy The whole world has gone MaD, the horsemen of the apocalypse will be forthcoming any day now. And meantime the only P.E.T.A. I recognize is People Eating Tasty Animals.

I'm a PC ...
but I... (Microsoft) used Mac computers to make this ad. Sad but true. Really.

Firehawk Returns!
I'm disgusted! Do you see Dodge calling their 4-door LX car a Charger.... oh, nevermind. This just adds to the stupidity, VW Phaeton, MB "4-door-coupe" & FWD Lincoln Zephyr/MK-Z come to mind.

Livin' The Dream
(hahaha, very funny REO-boi) No WAY would I ever hate on a Vaught. F4U Corsair! it's one of my top 5 favorite planes of all time, just behind the B-17 & ahead of the Me.109 & Mustang.... prob. a dead tie with the SuperMarine Spitfire. Congrats on your purchase!

Firehawk Returns!
Is NOTING sacred anymore? WTF!?

Escalade Lambda Confirmed Again
20 years from now this will be remembered as the 1962 Dodge of Cadillacs. And '62 Dodges will be offended, rightfully so. Do you see Mercedes Benz dowsizing their FULL SIZE SUV onto a freekin' C-class platform?

NO GOOGLE!
Wow.... crazy.Makes Tucker sound like a Olds Alero by comparison.

Happy Birthday Knightfan!
All the best. ...and many more.

Trishield
Agreed.... after all, there's no 64.5 calendar year as every Mustang guy refers to...!? By this goofy definition the 1969 Camaro was made for three years! Production started in 1968 and did not end spring of 1970.

My thoughts on a 5th gen
Will do. I know at least one of them turned up recently when we moved... I'll post them when they turn up.
-
Are you driving less?
Driving MORE for work, less for pleasure, that has to do mostly with my lack of time, & to a degree price of gas doubling again.

NO GOOGLE!
XP got it.... indeed the first use of an "on-board computer" was the Duesenberg SJ/SSJ of the early 1930s. Yes it was a mechanical computer but a monitoring system for such things as he brake pressure? Now THAT is attention to detail! Warning lights for the battery voltage & a confirmation light for the automatic, mechanical lubrication of the chassis by the computer? That's pretty amazing for an era when Model-A fords were the bread & butter car for the masses. Moltar: I believe the Vector had several power-train choices, including some wacky pre-VW "W8" (hence the name of that model), the protoytpes and a few of the production cars had Small-block based V8s with twin-turbos & also a V12 sourced from Lamborghini or maybe it was Mercedes or BMW was installed in one of the cars at one point, although that might have been by a customer.

The next generation of stupid car fads.
I hate "fart-cans", they're obnoxious and do NOT improve performance.

Police Car of the Future??
