IF Pontiac was all-RWD and marketed and designed as a TRUE enthusiast's brand they would be safe from sales losses due to MPG and CAFE could be taken care of with a smart mix of modern MINI competitors or even a "high" volume model long the lines of the 1960s/early-1970s BMW 2002.
