  1. wrong on both counts O.B. It's actually;' PEOPLE EATING TASTY ANIMALS
  2. Sounds about useful as a tunnel from NYC to China. let's spend BILLIONS on a project that is two, three, maybe FOUR decades away from being plausible, and if ever completed will be forever ONE rouge weather pattern, meteor, earthquake or plane crash away from destruction and loss of human life. In 2008, things being what they are globally we need this like a hole in the head.
  3. LOL. sad but true. Here's a thought. Democrats really piss me off when the charity issue comes up. You know why? Simple. We can all agree that there are rich democrats and republicans, right? (I'm neither, being a low-middle class republican leaning independent/libertarian) BUT did you know that in charitable contributions Republicans blow the Democrats out of the water, for you see it's another case of a B.S. stereotype, the Reps. are evil greedy millionaires, right? And dems. tend to generous.... err not so much, but the illusion is there. I hate big government and by extension I can NOT support ubber-liberal agenda.
  4. My ex-girlfriend from college had a really cool grandfather. He was a pro at annoying tellemarketers/solicitors. One time Sears called him and tried to sell him windows "I live in an under ground bunker..." another time AT&T called him about long distance phone service "I do not own a phone... no I am not talking to you on one... ok, bye" also, one time when my wife was late on paying a credit card they called to hound her and she annoyed the about how she needs a better paying job.... just kept asking "are you guys hiring?, what do you pay"?, will I have to relocate?" o.B. probably likes being the meat in the sandwich
  5. The union (at my UPS job of course) is backing B.H.O. but I AM NOT. Today a few of us in the "McCain sux but Osbama sux even more" camp were talking 'bout this "lesser of two evils" election and I said to one of the skeptics that Obama is so liberal he'd make JFK look like Hitler by comparison and a couple mASSholes got offeded.
  6. RWD is the safest driveline for winter. All cars skid over black ice and stop with all four wheels. Now as far as Caprice Classics, by the last gen. B-body most of them were 350-powered although I was recently tempted by 267 (4.3 liter SBC V8) economy Caprice that was for sale at a buddy's used car lot.
  7. I'd love to drive this beast over a row of hedges and up to the podium at an Al Gore "climate change" convention! Then, I'd jump out, maybe wearing painter's overalls and welder's goggles, and scream real loud: "Any of yoo city folks know how to navigate to the Pork Rind Festival?"
  8. I've got a stiffy! Now THAT'S a moonshine runner!
  9. YES! I've got less than $350 TOTAL invested in my 1992 Buick RoadmOnster since I bought it in Jan. of 2008. Beat THAT! 12,250+ miles almost 9 months $200 purchase price $0 reused battery from the Datsun $147 in parts = $1/cubic inch
  10. Porsche credibility > Nissan Reputation
  11. Looks like something BlackViper would have sketched up... seriously. That's not an insult either, good for Lamborghini, I think I'll prefer the Porsche though.
  12. Yes... the LT1 is a more powerful motor. BUT, not so much so that you should ever not buy a clean, straight '91-'93 B-body.
  13. And that's why so many on here despise you. Your user name should be Judas. Enjoy your 30-pieces of silver.
  14. PCS: Zeta was not, IS not a mistake. RWD is not the problem here, can't you (and by extension GM) understand that?!?!?! Do you see BMW designing some POS front-drier 3-series because of gas prices? How about Mazda, are they busy fu**ing around with FWD Miata prototypes? And Ford, the Probe II is eminent.... right? IF Pontiac was all-RWD and marketed and designed as a TRUE enthusiast's brand they would be safe from sales losses due to MPG and CAFE could be taken care of with a smart mix of modern MINI competitors or even a "high" volume model long the lines of the 1960s/early-1970s BMW 2002.
  15. Oh boy. Good luck Camino. I'm in no way shape or form able to take care of a dog these days. My schedule alone makes it impossible, never mind my minimalist back yard at this new house.
  16. Thanks Equi. Yeah... utilitarian stuff like this is awesome. This tractor is built like a well designed firearm, bank vault or 18-wheeler, so long as it receives the right amount of lubrication on moving parts it will last nearly forever.
  17. All the planets must be aligned JUST right. I think my Mars is firmly inside Venus' orbit, and Jupiter is headed for Uranus.
  18. When D.F. & I picked up my I.H. Cub Cadet a pretty big Garter snake was living under the blade-shield, inside a wrinkled up blue tarp. Also, a family of mice and several spiders large enough to swallow small mammals ere rehabilitating in the same shed.
  19. a five-for-$13.99 package of fat-girl porn magazines, a carton of generic menthol lights and a wheat penny from '56.
  20. That's an understatement. GM is so GOOD at bad timing it's like they took lessons from Jack (John Ridder) in Three's company.
  21. Awwww man, if I had that pimpin' ride, being such a chick magnet and all, esp. with that killer paintjob and kustom ground effectin' I'd fill up that swimin' pool in the back and have all the ladies git in the back for some sweet, sweeeeet lovin'
  22. in case it gets deleted... I'm tempted to offer him three cartons of camel lights w/out the tax stamps, my pet tarantula and a wooden tennis racket for the car.
  23. It's never a good time to watch (and believe a word of) the news in modern day USA.
