    Is There A Smaller Cadillac In Store?

    The smallest Cadillac currently is the new ATS sedan. But that could be changing.

    “The (compact) ATS sedan is not as small as we could go at Cadillac,” says Dave Leone, vehicle-line executive for the ATS. “The ATS is only the first entry. The ATS platform is scalable, so we could go smaller or larger.”

    The ATS is 7.7 inches shorter than the CTS, but the platform could be scaled down even further, possibly spawing a competitor to the BMW 1-Series, Audi A3, and Mercedes A-Class.

    Leone went onto to say, a smaller ATS would “a legitimate entry in the largest segment in the industry, the small, entry-level luxury market.”

    I don't think I could fit a full sheet of plywood or pegboard or anything that large in my Jeep. Anytime I've needed anything large moved I've rented a truck or had it delivered.

    At that rate, I'd be renting a truck every other month to bring home (or from one house to another) a couple 4x8 sheets of something. Not cost effective... I might as well give up on DIY.

    Just got back from the auto show today. All I can say is the show was centered on smaller cars and smaller engine. The product on display was getting smaller and smaller in every MFG display.

    The large SUV's were in the back and the Small were out front. Even the luxury MFG were featuring the smaller cars. From Benz to Cadillac were featuring the smaller cars on the turn tables. Even Cadillac did not show much on the SUV's

    The MFG's are just setting the stage to where they want the sheep to go.

      She lives in Dallas and is always making videos from her basement, wearing a stocking cap. Go figure. But she is absolutely right about Tesla.    Trump wants Canadian aircraft to quit flying because....things....however, a huge part of American airline fleet is either Airbus or Canadian/Brazilian made. And even the 787 Dreamliner has a lot of imported parts. I guess Passenger rail comes back and Greyhound scores bigly.

      That makes South Korean cars and Chinese cars to maybe sometime in the future have manufacturing plants of cars, batteries, anything related in the automotive supply chain to be built in Canada...replacing a centuries old partnership with detroit's automobile industry.  detroit's automobile industry is kowtowing and bowing to king trump the dicktator and will soon close down its manufacturing industry in Canada.  This is Canada protecting its own automotive industry.  And I personally say:  Phoque general motors!!! Phoque ford motor company!!!   Phoque chrysler corp!!! Phoque tesla!!! Phoque the united states of america!!!  I say bring on the Asian car industry!!!    Now...time to replace our aging american fighter jets with something more Swedish!!!
