    • https://www.youtube.com/shorts/-4rmS5XwTVM   Interesting.  I am becoming fascinated with the idea of building a small wooden canoe or other boat.    Fascinating.
    • My thoughts. I condemn the killing, but don't mourn the passing of Kirk.  If they came up with someone actually reading a book or showing empathy, yes, blame a democrat. Reality escapes these folks.  This is the kind of rational stuff I come here for.
    • Chinese EV's getting in would be a huge (and welcomed by me) blow to the US auto industry. I am all for Chinese EV's getting into Canada.  All for no one at al buying the F35, our government will hold crap over folks heads and not provide arts or tech support.  I actually take the thing further, I think Canada should ban US hockey teams from playing north of the border, and I think Canadian Hockey players need a general strike and need to refuse to play American teams.  Mexico has a huge amount of ICE and EV from Chinese companies. Motorcycles are a huge thing in lots of places outside of the US, and Chinese motorcycles are dominating the low cost market, and companies like BMW and Triumph from Europe are dominating the higher end market. No one wants (or few) American bikes.  Dude, I wish I smoked weed or drank something strong. It would make some of this $h! here comical instead of depressing.
    • I plan on doing some Lake Erie time myself. Lots of rail trails in the north of Ohio, have been back on my bike a lot. Rode 23 miles to breakfast this morning.  Interesting.  We have cut food aid under the current administration to foreign countries, a crap ton of children are going to die. The Hypocrisy of the whole thing is astonishing.  For political, quality control, styling, build quality, personal, emotional, psychological, and other reasons I have purchased my last ever American car.  Ironically, my Ranger has proven to be one of the best cars I have owned, 120K on it and going strong.
    • I guess the two teen girls that got murdered did so in part by someone on the right who was furious about their posts about Charlie Kirk. The country is coming apart at the seams.  The country is so dysfunctional that our discussion will just pivot to the next unspeakably vile person that decides to act out their true inner self.  Get ready for us not to fund mass transit. My Mustang comment in my test was sadly, right on point.  We were in Acadia in Maine at the start of the turn of leaves. It was gorgeous. I love fall in Ohio. Will miss it when I move elsewhere.
