I went to the Denver show this evening... wandered around for a couple hours. Random impressions: Saw a Bugatti Veyron for the first time in person. Wild. Loved the burgundy Quattroporte w/ creamy leather. The Aston Vantage looks incredible in person. The Challenger concept looked great, though the A-pillars are awfully thick. The Imperial is huge and strange looking... Sitting in the Impala SS, I realized the 'Like A Rock' slogan describes the lower dash plastics perfectly.. The Boston International Auto Show this year is having the North American debut of the 2006 Saab 9-5, making us Bostonians some of the first on here to get a look at it. I'll try and take some pics but its coming up early November. Its also going to have the Saturn AURA concept on display and all of the other new model goodies. Can't wait.

I was driving back from Bowling Green and missed the Anaheim show. OCCarNut gave me some info about the show.....did anyone else go? I hear that GM debuted the Yukon and Denali there. OCCarNut said the interiors were fantastic...and even had decent materials. On the flip side, he was less-than-enthusiastic about the Lucerne he say in person...

Here are pictures of the 2009 Honda Fit and Ridgeline. I took these today at the Georgian College Autoshow in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. The Fit is all new, while the Ridgeline gets a tweak. I have to say, the new Fit is much nicer looking than the old model. The updated Ridgeline is still nasty IMO.

Page 10 in Hemmings said there will be dueling concepts at the NAIAS, the Challenger and the Camaro. Even after all the internet hype and inside info I wasnt convinced, I would still feel better if GM had made an official announcement but I hear maybe after the New Year due to that Canada mess. I dont care about retro, I just want at least the GTOs performance IRS and some sick styling. I really liked the leaked pictures. So it looks like many of us will get our wish soon and maybe GM will get some much needed positive press.

Is anyone going to San Diego? I'm totally excited.......while it certainly won't have the impact of L.A. or Detroit, it is the first auto show of the season for me (I was out of town on business during the O.C. auto show.) I'm sure the GMT-900s will be there......as well as Lucerne, DTS, etc. The show runs from Wednesday, 12-28-05 until Sunday, 1-1-06.
