Say hello to the newest member of my family!

... and to a future C&G member! Justin Edward was born on Monday, August 8th at 11:10 AM. He weighed an even 8 pounds and was 21 inches long. Mom and baby had no complications during delivery and both came home two days later. He's breast-feeding, so needless to say, I sleep through the night! :P

Here he is:

Thanks everyone! :)

Of course he has to be trained in the ways of the automobile... I won't have it any other way. Most of his clothing is car/truck related, and we went out of our way to find automobile-themed bedding and room decor - construction trucks! I already bought him his first TONKA truck - of course he can't play with it for 3 more years, but hey at least he's prepared! And while shopping at a mall a couple of months ago, a KB Toy store was going out of business and I found a diecast GMC Terradyne that is sitting on his shelf to bring him up on GMC's from Day 1. Hahaha!

She had him 2 days after I found out about the GMAC lease pull-ahead, so I was hoping to have brought him home in a GMC. That didn't work out, but with the addition of the new Envoy on the 19th, he'll be carted to the doctor's visits in style from now on!!!

Wow, Congrats! :) My Sofia is already headed down the right path... whenever I'm on the internet, reading one of my twelve magazine suscriptions or watching Speedvision she walks up to me with a finger pointed towards the four-wheeled box of the moment and & yells: "CAAAHHH!!" :P
