Yup... definatelly a Packard. Love those teardrop headlights, aerodynamic fenders and sidemount spares. :D

I am going to guess it's a late 30's Buick Limited that belonged to a Chinese emperor or something. Notice the interior, not much plastic in there, except for maybe the steering wheel rim. The little round sign on the back gives it away as some sort of "official" car, I'd say. Edited by ocnblu

ocn as usual is right there with his 'aww shucks' guess: it's a '36 Buick. First year for suicide doors. I'm going to say it's the Limited Formal Sedan, one of 74 built.

Actually, suicide doors can be found on Buicks as early as 1920. Perhaps earlier? Not sure.

1936 Buick McLaughlin(limited limo).  Built for King Edward VIII?????

Ocn was very close but BuickEight hit it right on the head. This is a 1936 "Buick 8 Limited" limousine modified by McLaughlin. This Buick was the personal limousine for King Edward VIII.

balthazar, I saw your post but didn't get to it in time... sorry. Yep, I have "The Buick - A Complete History" 6th (Centennial) Edition B) Fantastic book. Let me know how the Packard Book is... and which edition. I might want to pick one up also. :)
