Mystery bumper sticker

I've noticed a lot of these over the last year or so...not sure if it's an Arizona thing or something else.

It's a small dark blue square with two horizontal yellow bars. Looks like a yellow equals sign '=' on a blue square. Anyone have any idea what it means? :scratchchin:

It's the Human Rights Campaign.... it's a gay rights organization.

Interesting...wouldn't have expected to see something like that in AZ.

Why? You don't have gay people there?

Yes, but AZ is such a conservative state, about as red as Utah.

Just like Iran claims!

Surprise, surprise/Gomer Pyle

There really are such people as gay conservatives. Ya learn something new every day, eh Moltar?

That's one of those concepts I truly find hard to wrap my mind around...since I have always associated conservatism w/ intolerance, bigotry, homophobia, etc. Have to separate fiscal from social conservatism.

I have stereotypical misconceptions, no doubt, but based in truth on various social conservatives I've met over the years...

:o Is that why you bought it? ;)

Moltar, some ppl don't fit in the box (so to speak). Some ppl defy stereotype.

I've had the sticker on a few of my vehicles back in the late 90's-early '00s, before it became so well-known. I have a window cling one that I put on the Cobalt from time to time, but it must have gotten hot at some point, it wrinkled and kind of melted together last time I pulled it out. I had to throw it away.

I only put it on as a calling card, because I don't agree with some of their political positions. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I don't agree with their methods. They are more concerned with the continuation of the organization than with the results they get. They spend a huge amount of their donations on swanky parties with D.C. elites.

Remember, there is such a thing as "Socially Liberal and Financially Conservative". It's the phrase that seems to get you the most votes in Ontario politics. :)
