New Opel Astra TwinTop In Depth

Recommended Posts

I like the interior, but the generic-Euro-look of Opel is getting tiring. The Tigra looks more interesting, IMO.

I agree with you there-its a draw between this and the new Ford Focus CC-but that one has way too long of a rear decklid, and Opel's exterior styling has been nothing special for the past...oh.....okay, maybe that 1982 concept car and a few others come to mind, but nothing in recent times.

Opel's look isn't generic to me. Especially in Astra GTC guise. It's exciting. Volkswagens latest cars are, in fact, generic and boring in contrast to Opel.

I prefer the exterior of the G6.

Is there much of a size difference? I'm asking because the headlights/taillights and grille seem to be the only exterior styling changes made to the G6 convertible. Otherwise they look almost identical to these eyes.

Umm, there's a whole size class of difference.

G6 to Astra is like Civic to Accord, or Cobalt to Malibu, Sunfire to Grand Am.
