Fisker Karma first drive reviews

1) The slight misalignments/build quality issues will be overshadowed by the fact that for buyers, they are buying something rare and unique.

2) The airbag cover is no worse than any GM car between 1990 and 2005.

That's weak.

And according to the clunky website, there is a substantial difference between the base sound system and the uplevel system. Number of speakers is one.

This thread makes my ass hurt, so out of spite, I'm going to ruin everything for all of you and tell you those HVAC vents are from a GMC Envoy. You're welcome.

I think the Fisker is a great car, simply put. Every line and detail of it oozes soul and considering this is the very first effort from a very young firm, I can forgive any of its shortcomings and hope the car makes this new AMERICAN car company successful.

Fisker has been around for a while as a coach builder.

Fisher has been around for a while as a coach builder.

Fisker has been around since 2005... 150 Tramontos and 150 Latigos. Hand built and I'm sure stratospheric pricing. Likely 1/4 the volume Boyd has done over in a similar period of time.

Fisker is not experienced yet as a 15K a year volume automaker... there will be teething problems. But I like what they are doing... building a larger American car with style. I can live with some warts... like the pesky electric drivetrain. ;-)
