I looked at this picture and something looked oddly familiar. The greenhouse shape, the ridge along the bottom of the doors that goes into the wheel arches, the wheels....

Then, I realized:

Why does GM insist on making a copy of every generation of the Sebring???

It's just the rear, really. The front should look like a Vectra.

I just still don't get why won't they just get the Vectra here already. Lutz mentioned it was a waste of money to change it, other than emissions and compliance things.

Actually, the Aura greenhouse reminds me more of this:

when i saw that pic i immediately thought of this:

Or should I say... the midsize sedan designers are out of ideas in general?

Umm, Even the Aura concept looked like a Sebring, just with much better execution. Were you too distracted by the big shiny wheels to notice this?

I guess I concentrated too much on the front.

I'm glad you guys agree with my comparison for once. I seem to always bring up vehicles on this board which I find extremely similar only to have nobody agree with me.

I think the back end looks kind of Oldsmobiley... coincidence? Check out a last-gen Aurora... Saturn clearly is the New Olds within GM's hierarchy.

I can see it. Combine this rear end with the '06 Impala face and you get.. a Sebring refresh!

This reminds me of that "The Mid-Sized Sedan, A Study of Bland" thread I started a while back where I complained about the lack of interesting vehicles in the midsized sedan market and it turned into a 7 page pissing match that got locked.

Enough reminiscing though. Let's play "Spot The 2002 Honda Accord."

No. It was the carbon copy of the 2003 instead. Look at it in person and you'll know what I mean.

Hmm . . .  :confused0071:

I think the Sonata looks way better and less bloated than the fat Accord.

That doesn't really say Stratus to me.
