Chevrolet News:More From The Trademark Office: Chevrolet Spark Activ

Featured Replies

Our intrepid trademark investigator Blake Noble has uncovered two new filings from General Motors. Filed on January 21, the two filings are for the Chevrolet Spark Activ. So what could this possible Spark model be? We have a couple of guesses:

  • An even smaller crossover in Chevrolet's lineup
  • More fuel efficient version of the Spark

Now we should say that even though GM has trademarked Spark Activ, it doesn't mean they will actually use it.

What do you think? Let us know in the comments.

This sounds like an inexpensive CUV in FWD / AWD with a Turbo 3 cylinder engine for the youth and college crowd to get around in and up the mountain.

Should be fun and if they do keep it between 10K to 20K will allow GM to get youth back into Auto's with a sports activ focus.

I have it on good authority that this will be a pickup version of the Spark, with AWD and a turbo 3.

Makes sense they would offer it as a baby brother to the Trax...ever size niche needs a CUV in today's market.
