  1. I don't sense there's a full set of teeth in the expanse of this photo ...

  2. How many Germans does it take to screw in a lightbulb? Just one. Germans are efficient and not very funny.

  3. When you're a kid and want to piss someone off, you might toilet paper their car or house. When you're an adult and want to do the same, you can't be quite so juvenile. One time I was sitting in a tavern that had good happy hour food specials and some steak Saturdays and the crowd tilted toward blue collar and biker. I ate and left. That was about it. They had a jukebox. I thought this could be funny. You go over to the jukebox as you are about to finish your food and program the following songs ... Donna Summer - "McArthur Park" Andrea True Connection - "More, More, More" Odyssey - "Native New Yorker" ... and get the hell out of the place. I'm sure most of the people inside would be steamed.

  4. Seems like a very competitive price for that level of performance. I am excited for when all these EV’s hit.

  5. Update: Albert really likes the idea of a crossover sedan like that.

  6. I agree. I think something is up though. GM is in the process of re-doing ALL of their platforms.. they want to go the VW route of MLB and MQB, but with two additional variations. I'm wondering if we don't see something come from that. Or maybe even *gasp* a Bolt City Express! . An EV city delivery van with a 250 mile range could turn the segment on its ear.

  8. Okay, so that looks really cool... a crossover sedan PHEV with AWD and 350 miles of range. If I wanted to fill up both the battery and gas tank along the Turnpike, I could. 400 horsepower is just under all three of my current vehicles, combined.

  9. Nice Mustang! Maverick 2- & 4-door have nearly identical rooflines- the 4-door's is a tiny bit shorter and makes a tiny bit more room for heads in the back seat... going to quote myself on this one :

  12. Because Gov't has positioned itself, not as a servant to the people, but a quiet overlord, creating, implementing & enforcing at will with no avenue for appeal and no accountability.

  13. I believe that the vast majority of people 'mellow' or 'get nicer' as they pass into middle age, tho of course there will always be a small quantity that goes the other way. I was talking to my mother on this one and she said she used to wonder, as a girl, what it would feel like to be -say- 50. She says she doesn't feel (mentally) any different, and 50 is solidly in her rearview mirror. - - - - -

  15. Has anyone noticed that you just can't pick up the phone and call anyone (a person) anymore? Texts are used as appointment methods to do just that. And I'm talking about friends/peers from decades ago who you just used to pick up the phone and call. How times have changed ... at least as far as communication tools go.

  16. You should have seen the "survey" the the government sent us...holy smokes was it bad! And ours said failure to failure the fill it out in a timely manner meant actual real jail time (like 3 months or something like that) Random survey my rear......
