  1. Hot crossover is already upon us. AMG, M, Audi SQ, Alfa Stelvio, Jeep GC Trackhawk, Porsche has 2 SUV, Lamborghini has one, Ferrari and Aston Martin will have one next year, Tesla will have a 2nd. There are probably 20 crossovers on sale now with what was deemed sports car performance just a few years ago.
  2. The XTS and XTS V-Sport could send 90% of the torque to the rear, but you never gave it credit for that. Just another example of you moving the goal posts around to support your favorite brand.
  3. Funny how years of you harping on transverse mounted engines (especially ones over 300 hp) changes into "teh best evarrr!"
  4. Current gen JGC that started in 2011, and has gone through multiple big and small revisions, has been a tank, and completely reliable. As with any new intro (and the Wrangler example for 2018), I'd skip the first early model year, then all will be okay. Ready to see more. Current gen, in a 2020 model year, is one of the best all around packages you can get in any vehicle class. Refined, solid, incredibly efficient, stylish, etc. Hoping into a friends 2014 with 121k miles on it now...for a long roadtrip. Still only on 2nd set of tires, original brakes, and silent. Let's hope the beefed up Stelvio, etc. platform lives up to this gen. More to come...even if that does mean a rotate dial shifter. The Alfa stuff has been the questionable stuff, in full Alfa form, but let's hope the Jeep guys took this one further. Supposed to look almost like the current gen (great), but be lighter and higher tech.
  5. • ‘69 Road Runner, burnt copper, hunkered & rumblin loud • one of those Italian Firebird 488s
  6. Someone in my neighborhood really likes 2019 Cherokees. 3 of em.
  7. circa '26 Buick test chassis ~
  8. I would agree that we are NOT at the engineering limits of ICE auto's. Yet with that said, for the sake of our planet, future health of kids, family, loved ones, etc. it is in our best interest to push forward with better tech and obsolete older tech if possible sooner rather than later.
  9. Maybe Mercedes should have done what Cadillac did with the XT5: ditch the third row entirely for trunk space. Those third-row seats should be used for storage, not passengers.
  10. Not exactly aspirational, is it? At least in photos, it just does not have luxury cache.
  11. Whoops. Sorry I got the SexT6 and the dodge Dakota journey confused
