  1. Aftermarket convertible conversion on the Tesla Model 3. For $30K, you get this manually-folding top. For another $10K, they'll electrify it. HANDS DOWN, the WORST convertible conversion I have ever seen. I struggle to recall a more pointless / less dignified automotive alteration. Makes the Murano convertible look swanky. All that stupid money and they couldn't even re-engineer the rear door glass to roll all the way down.

  2. 2013 Mustang GT Premium 2017 MX-5 Miata Club (preferably RF if I could find for $20k) 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 2004 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 2015 Nissan Xterra Pro-4X If I could choose only one for my money, it probably would be between Miata and Z06. Z06 is more desirable but for $20k it is bottom of the barrel and the maintenance on it would be very expensive. Considering the hard times I probably would go with the Miata, very fun car, cheap to insure and maintain.

  3. Only thing I can come up with is a super clean variant of the '92-96 F-150, like I used to have. A Lightning would be pretty cool- saw an immaculate one online sold a few months ago for $14,250. I like the hell out of this, but the asking price is $42K.

  4. Working on the car 6 days out of 7. • strung up the new parking brake cabling, of course I'll have to modify it. Axle is a Dana 60, commonly found under MoPars, so the backing plates are MoPar. Parking brake assembly (cables) is '71-74 B-Body MoPar [Charger/Satellite/GTX]. Looks like it will work, tho the front cable off the pedal is steel-jacketed and I'm going to have to cut that off and get the cable naked. B-59 uses pulleys to snake the cabling down & back under the car [below is B-59 diagram]. Have to run the exhaust first, but feeling confident. • Stripped 2 front doors off a '60 Bonneville flattop I tore down a few years ago. Needed another vent window regulator and some of the auto-specific screws on the inner doors. In doing so I realized 1. the door latch mechanicsms are the same, and 2. I haven't seen the door latches off my B-59 in years. So cleaned them up in preparation for painting. Was missing one hinge-to-body bolt, so got that here.

  5. list price 19 900. 115 000 miles. Bored 350 to 355. I wouldnt touch a thing about it. Love those Cragars. And T-tops! ? If anything, if the underneath has hidden problems, Id sell one or two of the other dream cars in my list to proper restore this beauty! https://classics.autotrader.com/classic-cars/1980/chevrolet/camaro/101122563 1990 Corvette ZR1 for 19 995? Shyte, Ill buy it and have it my affordable dream garage. And if its a legit ZR1, this one might be appreciating in value... https://classiccars.com/listings/view/1351882/1990-chevrolet-corvette-for-sale-in-elkhart-indiana-46514 I went on several used car sites for the entire US and I found that a Pontiac G8 GT had a wide range of prices from 9 000 to 23 000. I could find a nice one for close to but under 20 000 easily. A GXP or Chevy SS are all over 25 000. They seem to be closer to and above 30 000. So a Pontiac G8 GT will happily do! 11 900 for a 1972 Cultass 2 door hard top. I think that is a cool buy. It does have a 455 in it. Rebuilt it says! https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/dealer/oldsmobile/cutlass/2073015.html I was looking at Fiat 124s for sale. I found out that for 2017, I could get a nice used Abarth for close to and under 20 000. And Id be keeping the Pontiac G8 GT if I were only to have just one. If I had to sell one car so I could restore that 1980 Camaro, Id sell the Fiat.

  6. It’s a ‘57 Ford, but not sure which model, don’t recognize the side trim. Speaking of the 50s, saw a very clean ‘55 Chevy Nomad (Aqua w a white roof) driving in my neighborhood this afternoon.

  7. The list is off the top of my head and could change in 30 seconds: 1988 Fiero Formula 1998 S-10 Blazer ZR2 1987 Monte Carlo SS 1979 Century Turbo Coupe 1992 Jeep Comanche At this juncture, I would buy the Buick if it were in perfect condition.

  8. Here is one Chrysler performance car I really liked even though it is a sister to the Mitsubishi version. Only 55K miles on it and the current bid price is $12,100 on Ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/143606587133 Chrysler Conquest TSi. To me this was a Hot Turbo Muscle car that I liked from the 80's. Course was in college and could barely fit in then, now, forget it. Still a cool car.
