  1. Yes, it is the same as the Lincoln LS, and there was an extremely minor change in stroke to make it a 4.0 for the Jaguar S-Type. It was a fine engine, but Ford has all but abandoned support for it seeing as it only went into two low-volume cars. Eventually parts will be made of unobtainium.

  2. It has a 3.9L V8 (had to look it up because I knew it had something unique). 241.9cu/3950cc. 252hp/267tq for 2002 and then up to 280hp/286tq in 03-05. I'd assume this is the same V8 that went in the Lincoln LS. I actually think these have aged quite well. I wasn't much of a fan back when they came out but I think that looks pretty decent now. It's been awhile since I've seen on.

  3. For something that looks pretty dang good overall, I can’t understand why they didn’t engineer a frunk into it. That’s one of the biggest advantages of an EV and they excluded it.

  6. Very cool, more images out on the CELESTIQ. Cadillac CELESTIQ Show Car: Discovery and Fascination We all saw the first picture released of the drivers side front quarter panel. Now we get additional pics of focus points. Interesting, I just noticed that they have "Standard of the World" on the bolts.

  7. While excited for the GM EVs, I am bum' ed by the blah white/grey interiors. So sterile and cold looking to me.

  8. For ground-up built EVs, that's a pretty big mistake, imo. I can't imagine they didn't have "much deep thinking yet" on a frunk. The Silverado EV has one so it isn't like GM just had blinders on and weren't looking at the rest of the industry. As somebody once said, "that is a total failure!"

  9. And, for FoMoCo fans, I recently saw this ~ 20 year old Thunderbird which was one of the better reboots of some classic American iron. I believe these had a 255 c.i. V8, or thereabouts, and its owner was really proud of it. I can see why.

  10. People who claim they're "looking out for you" when all they really are is an inflexible, self-centered prick.
