  1. Saw this at around noontime. It's not the very last-gen MC, hence 2005 and before. It's not my color, but it's in incredible condition ... This would have the 3400 V6 instead of the final 3500 VVT. I was always sort of "meh" on the Chevy high-value 60 degree V6, but they have been long lasting workhorses for so many. And, on the highway, they'd return 33 or 34 mpg on rented MCs and Impalas. Now put that in your pipe and smoke it!

  2. F150 owners don't as much either. Maverick owners very likely are buying because of efficiency. I'm sure they didn't exactly want a teens city number for fuel economy. Raptors also probably have 28-36 gallon tanks. My MKC with it's little 15.1 gallon tank couldn't get 300 miles out of a tank unless you were driving all highway and also drove it to E. Sub-300 mile tanks is pretty annoying, to be honest. I know these Mavericks have 16.5 gallon tanks, so that is a pretty good improvement, and a 2.3 would still yield over 300 miles now...most likely.

  3. They're listing it as starting at $28,145 on Ford's website right now(2025s). I don't know where you're getting 31k from?

  4. Yeah, that wasn't a very efficient engine though, so I assume they still had a MPG/emissions target in mind.

  5. I do also, and they often remain un homed because folks have a bias against them. See, this kills my excuse for all of my irrational posts here. "Obviously I was hacked!" Goodbye Cavalier! An excellent video on the downfall of Southwest Airlines. Everything on this channel is well researched and enjoyable IMHO.

  6. Every now and then, I look at parts of 007 movies on YouTube to LMAO. They hit their peak a while back. I have not seen any of the Daniel Craig ones. I must have burned out in terms of fandom. Even though I haven't seen any of Craig ones, I thought he was an off pick to play 007. It's almost confirmed, if not already confirmed, that the role will go to Henry Cavill. I think they should have kept looking. I'm sure there are a lot of qualified actors to play James Bond and they should have always been at work zeroing in on Ian Fleming's description of the main character. I'm getting sick of the unbridled PC-ness whereby one of the actors on the short list was a Black actor. If he is nothing like the James Bond alluded to in Ian Fleming's novels, he should not have been considered just because we are in the 2020s.

  7. I really dig what this is. I want to say I'm a little disappointed there wasn't some power bump here, but they know the aftermarket will handle this easily and anybody wanting more power was going to do that regardless. Those wheels.. are FANTASTIC!

  8. This is awesome! I have low-key always liked the maverick and this is a perfect addition for this truck. Giving it more sporting prowess for where this truck will probably spend 90% of its time on the road where the biggest obstacles it will face are speed bumps at the Home Depot or IKEA. Honesty, in my opinion the majority of America's don't need the gigantic half ton pick ups that they have an unnecessary love affair with, heck even theses days the quarter ton pick up trucks have ballooned up to the size of half tons from a decade ago. The maverick is near perfect vehicle for most people who want the utility of a pick up truck but don't necessarily use it everyday and this new lobo trim just adds to the fun by making it more engaging to drive.

  9. Thanks, @Drew Dowdell I do have the charging brick. I will be using it more. I just surf at airports. I'm off wi-fi if I decide to go onto a financial site or similar.

  10. Well, some nuance. 1. Use your own charging brick, or buy a USB data blocker (USB A Data Blocker) - (USB C Data Blocker) * we get a small commission if you purchase through these links at no cost to you. 2. Use the free airport wifi, but don't do anything financial on it OR subscribe to a credible VPN service for your phone. No hacker is going to care if they get your C&G password. These rules apply just about anywhere, not just when flying. Hotels, coffee shops, restaurants, your car dealership service center waiting room, etc. The taco bell near me has been remodeled to have USB ports, workstations, and free wifi, and those are every bit as insecure as an airport, just lower traffic.

  12. With this kind of editing, No. I do not think a disclosure is necessary. Eliminating things around the subject don't necessitate a disclosure, to me.

  13. There was a flight attendant on the last flight who looked like a regular height version of John Fetterman, so not at all like your average flight attendant.

  15. A Deville Concours. These were rare when new and rarer now. These were the high end version that came with the more powerful northstar and magnaride. Concours got all the new suspension tech through this generation as it came out.

  16. Yeah. Just been busy with work this year. Took a couple days off to get away. Going to do some hiking and strolls along the trails of the park. The lake was stormy today..view from my room.

  18. Beautiful fall weather here in NE Ohio this weekend...lots of color. Took a drive out in nearby Geauga County--lots of rolling hills, lakes, rivers..beautiful part of the state. Saw a brown Ferrari F488 Pisa spyder, a bright blue Lotus Emira, and a bright blue C8 Corvette convertible on the same hilly stretch of road, out enjoying the fall sun. Also saw a ghastly Pepto-Bismol Pink Cybertruck. A couple pics of the lake at Punderson State Park and a pic of my back yard.

  19. Yes that would be true if in the actual city creeping along, but around here having to take a freeway that is one hour to go 15 to 20 miles on the freeway is terrible. Freeway is far less efficient than local driving with regen on. I have not heard or read anything that BMW has very good regen, so freeway creeping is pretty bad on battery power. In the last 5 years the King County area has grown by 1 million folks with no improvement in the freeway system, just more congestion. As such, driving from my house which was a 15 to 20 drive in 2019 if I was not in the commute traffic to downtown Seattle is now 30 to 35 minutes. If I am in the normal commute traffic it takes 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. As such, working from home is the best to no have to deal with 2 to 4 hrs. a day wasted on the freeway commuting. Sadly, EV or ICE, freeway crawl is still worse than city driving especially during the summer here. Thought I get it things are hotter where you live. Hybrids do much better than ICE and plugin are just meh in what owners of them have to say that I hear.
