    and they are trying to bring a(or more) safety feature down a level every year... but they also have pretty useless stuff in it too. like an adjustable lumbar support in the driver's seat that... doesn't hold position...aka, pretty useless.

    i've shared something like this before: I wonder if the mazda5 (MPV) has any future plans to come back? just curious... I still think a small truck could work... rumor around the 'net is either '18 MY 3 will be refreashed with skyactiv 2 or it'll be CY '18. not sure. HCCI in a production vehicle will be interesting...not much word if it'll be the 2.0L, 2.5L or what....

    wasn't it at least rated SULEV .. well, maybe not the S/C one, but the N/A was... if it did have to be updated, raise the CR to ~10+, add DI and keep it with low end grunt.

    narrow minded could be a criticism and not "name calling". not saying you're wrong... if capitalism did it to detroit, it's because investors thought there were better opportunities elsewhere. right or wrong, it's their $, so it's up to "them". is there a post to refer FordC to for how REP is supposed to be used for? i sometimes use votes in redit for like, but i know it's not supposed to be like that. this isn't facebook. I've been the target of Drew's wrath too, but it's been like.. 4+ years? i've also not be very active here for like 2 years either.

    i gotcha. but this is lots of anecdotal comments., i've been doing it too.. sorta. lol we can't change the past and it's an easy target to moralize or rationalize about stuff you had no chance to change. ...maybe this is why we are so militarily involved around the world... the labor of the 1800's allowed for rapid expansion at the cost of many lives and liberties. there were also "child soldiers" of the civil war, the moralizing can't only be directed at "economic tyrants".. anyway...... kinda sad.. isn't it like saying i win at a staring contest? while it can't be disputed if both know they are playing... just sayin.

    and we'll never see it (3.5 or 3.9) with a 6-speed(+) and updated like the 4.3 has been. with a straight ratio for hp the 3.5 would make ~231hp, and ~258 for the 3.9. those look like great 2.0L Turbo replacement ranges for those that don't want a turbo in midsize and large sedans to midsize crossovers and ... small trucks. Always liked Dwightlooi's technical ideas and explanations.

    i think the bailout was the only chance they got from us. no blackwater security sent there. i'd say GM has the right to defend their property, but paying for security may not be worth it... Tesla could have covered them with their stock worth alone. if there can be proof of wrong and right... that must mean there is objective truth right? how close are we to be able to know and control things with science? i'd say somewhat far, but not in the grand scheme of things. thus if science is somewhat far, since living things are much more complex, we still have many "discoveries" to find, prove and spread this object truth. if interstellar travelers existed... any technology that we can't understand, is essentially magic. i'm not ruling that out, and would explain some things from prehistoric caves and such. but then the question is, why haven't they been back? Star treks 'prime directive"? lol
