  1. WOW, UGLY! So they push out the Lexus front grill toned down or what I would call the BIG MOUTH BILLY BASS front end. Does nothing for appeal at all. The interior is just as bad, a slasher job of a dash. Someone must have been on a predator and slasher film binge when they designed this car and the Lexus line. Terrible, Terrible design language.
  2. I like the toned down buck tooth grill but over all a snoozer sedan that will be an upgrade for those Honda Fans that are ready to pay more money for the name alone. Very conservative, it might for those frusterated with the poor quality of Lexus conquest those buyers.
  3. Based on the comments here, Dodge has done with the Charger what Ram did with their trucks. Love it or hate it look that will have people talking about it. If anyone can photo shop this into an all black model like the cops are doing as sleeper unmarked cars that would be great.
  4. I am surprised they would want to show a car like this at such a big show with flaws that one would notice. I hope this is not an indication of the direction GM is going.
  5. I love the Challanger packages, very good and should sell well for them and there is something for everyone including the collectors. In regards to the Charger, I love that they kept the indent on the front doors and the huanches and the rear is nice. The Interior I really like and as such feel it will still sell well for them. The Nose, I am mixed on. I see the point in getting better areo dynamics for MPG, but it lost the Charger Look and now looks vague, plain forgetable. Nice but forgetable. Not sure if it will grow on me or not. Mixed about the front Nose job. This is like Baby from Dirty Dancing, She got a nose job and became forgetable and only now is making it back into TV and Movies.
  6. I like the evolutionary look on the outside. Much better than the Honda or Toyota auto's. Interior is nice but slab bland. I am sure for people who like a utilitarian auto to get from point a to b this will win hands down.
  7. Just not diverse enough actually getting bland looking to me.
  8. Thanks Drew for adding shots from the floor. This is still a very ugly car to me. The Front on shot makes those lower chrome areas stand out like zits on this ugly face.
  9. Very Cool, Happy B-Day to where ever you are!
  10. Since most of us wondered why GM did not offer this sooner for Chevy as a notch below the Encore. I wonder if it is because they wanted to maximize sales of the encore knowing that if they brought out the chevy, there would be people who would ignore Buick for Chevy due to old age stigma?
  11. Like the Dodge, the other two are Mehhh!
  12. Yup Ford it hitting the same water issue at VW and has a patch they apply to deal with the issue also.
  13. Always ugly before the light comes through. They should use this time to purge old GM thinking. Time for new fresh blood to fully turn GM into the World Class company it is capable of.
  14. I actually love the look, very SUV. Impressed with the technology, hope it is reliable. Question, where is the engine specific's? Nothing about the power train?
  15. Initial impression is a nice looking CUV with what is becoming a trend of Mean, Pissed off Headlamps. Over all will be a hit for Nissan. Rear is my least favorite part, the whole coupe pinched butt look with reduction in headroom and cargo room is just so old school and tired IMHO. Interior I like very much as a clean but flowing dash and interior look. Not a fan of White as it shows all dirt and is a pain to keep clean. Yet with the few items I am not thrilled by, I will say this is a hit and should sell well for them.
  16. Saw this bad boy at the park-n-ride lot yesterday and was surprised how clean it was. Great candidate for restoring.
  17. 1yr lease is a great way to get people into their auto's and move them up into a new one after only 12 months. Smart Marketing.
  18. Initial reaction to the TDI is cool, but then you see the MPG and it is just mehhh especially when you see the boring non inspiring body language inside and especially out. This will be seen and forgotten by the time people walk 5 feet away from the auto at the show.
  19. I have to agree that for a power wagon which is not a mass produced product, they should have a better power plant under the hood. I would venture to guess that they went after a MPG thing here.
  20. Have to agree with DF that this is the best looking Mini-Van in the segment. They have a very pleasing external body design with plenty of positives inside. Honda and Toyota need to dial back the weird external body design of their vans and Chrysler needs to step up the quality factor as the Town & Country Mini-Van I saw over the weekend looked very cheap inside and plasticky. This I foresee making conquest sales from the established 3 that are out there.
  21. I do not foresee this car gaining market share, they made a terrible mistake much like Honda did with the civic and they will be forced to refresh this by the end of the year!
