  1. love the look of this car, but come on, who in their right mind will really carry people in the back seat? These are kiddy seats at best and a place to stowe your bags.
  2. Very Cool Research for the Electric crowd, but useless in the real world as who really can get a level 3 quick charge out in the woods and more over if you had a gas/diesel/cng generator, who would really want to wait 10hrs to recharge their auto. Way to early for this, they should focus on a CNG and BioDiesel version of the defender.
  3. I like this, I think GM could do a family of V8's here. Base level 5.3L V8 Mid level 6.2L V8 Mid Level + 6.2L V8 Supercharged Performance level 8.1L V8 Supercharged Yes I know the LS9 is a Supercharged 6.2, but there is something to be said for size and after seeing a few Supercharged 8.1L V8's, you can build a monster that can kill everything else. This could give you 4 sweet rides.
  4. I agree Drew, it will be interesting to see how a CUV 4x4 will handle this kind of tranny with skip shifting. I am wondering how it will handle the torque needs when or if someone takes it off road. Pretty pricing if you have to send in the tow truck on the back 40 of some lumber road or worse a true rock crawling area.

Yea seeing those seats makes me Sorry but I do not like the print. Balthazar, that is what all those hot looking booth babes are for to help you into the rig when you cannot step on the tire easily like me. Shrek wins this one! I found loads of pics, but only two with the door open, and none that show any other way to get in. Lots of great action shots - the thing is cool. Still, I like this better: j-12-1.jpg I do agree this is a sweet ride also and I would be happy to have it also.
  6. Both my Xbox and Xbox 360 are from the orignal releases. I have had to replace power supplies as that was a fault on the original set of 360's, but over all it has been bullet proof. I do always buy the top of the line models to make sure I have a system that lasts and so far it has done really well. I have kept up on all the updates for it also. My PS3 is also from the original release and while I have kept it updated and it clearly beats the original Xbox, it does not have the quality that my Xbox 360 seems to have and like I said, it is noisy compared to the 360. Not sure why, but it does make noticable noise that others have commented on it when we play it.
  7. My Bad, he still has the Black Patriot, I always get it mixed up with the Liberty as his is the Patriot Latitude edition. Always get confused with them having the Compass/Patriot twins and I see in their advertising here this morning that they are having the compass start 4 grand more than the Patriot. Seems they are pushing the compass as a higher level CUV. My daughter who is 29 told me last night in looking over the Jeep Cherokee that she finds it totally ugly and her friends she showed it to all agreed. One of her male friends said it does not have the Mojo of the Original Cherokee and he would rather have the current Liberty over this monster.
  8. Very Cool on the Cut Down Wrangler.
  9. Hope those little mutt's of a pickup come here with the 2.9L baby Duramax Diesel. That would make them Rock!

Naw just like any raised 4x4 just step on the tire and hop in!
  11. So much for an open market, let the market forces decide what people want. Seems the politicians are dictating what we can and cannot drive. Holding onto older auto's for what you want will become the norm for those of us that love auto's and love to drive. Sadly the roads are going to become more dangerous due to poor road conditions and distracted drivers who really do not care about driving.
  12. Interesting hump in the middle of the hood and when you blow up the photo's you can clearly see some musculare bulges over each headlamp. Wonder what the while plug in in the lower left black grill area next to the driving light is for? While the cameo does a good job of covering the car, you can clearly see changes are coming.
  13. Interesting, I hope beside adding performance to the GT-R Nismo that they also bring back some of the heritage design of the R34/35 Skyline.
  14. Maybe it is to tow the Fords and Dodges out of the way when they break down!
  15. Anyone notice the Blue with White top Olds in the background or the Corvette?
  16. Very Cool, Glad she got into cars.
  17. Both my old xbox and xbox 360 is wisper quiet compared to the PS3 and the PS3 has Lag on booting up and responding during loading of games, etc. XBOX clearly beats them hands down and has a far superior online experiance. From what I have seen via friends that are working on XBOX 720, people are going to really like it and the new updated Kinect. They are truly taking it to the next level. I am very excited for this.
  18. Congrats, when things settle down, look forward to pictures.
  19. Polarizing as a Love Hate relationship would be and just could end up being a smash hit. I asked my son who bought a 2012 Liberty and he said he would pass as it does not have the traditional Jeep look that he loves and why he got the Liberty, yet his girl friend said she loves it and always thought Alex's Liberty was old looking. Again, this is the Y generation, both 25 years old, so I think they will be successful but to the youth martket more than the older market.
  20. FORD -Fix Or Repair Daily.....
  21. Do not like the Fords, The style just does nothing for me with that big black plastic mouth. Chevy while nice, is too much deer in the headlights look. Probably more of a Gen Y car than my era. Buick wins hands down. OcnBlu, as my dad and granddads always told me, working a bit longer to save a bit more to get a nicer item that will last longer makes it all worthwhile. You have solid transportation now. I strongly suggest holding off, saving a bit more and then get the Buick the way you want. You really will be far happier with an auto you have implied you will hold onto longer than your current churn and burn of new cars. Good Luck Excite to hear what you do.

  23. any comment..? Tradesman Roof Racks Those are nice and durable roof racks. They are popular here in the Seattle area for outdoors camping.
  24. Jeers, While a nice try and interior was done pretty well, it looks like it has a broken back. Something weird with the bed to cab connection point as it looks like it is bent up.
