REGAL : THE FUTURE
Regal GS which was a supercharged sedan was awesome and plenty of them around at least here in Washington. So you do not feel the need to have a performance sedan in the buick family?

Scion xD versus the Nissan Versa
Biggest experiance with them is the Regal GS which is very popular in Seattle and has been a solid car. You find plenty on the road around here. Also aftermarket upgrade kits and the Toyota TRD Supercharge kit on plenty of 4 runners and Tacoma's here so you hear the Whine all the time and it is exciting to drive one that just fly's low to the ground. Superchargers could be a northwest thing also as I grew up with them here since the 70's.

Corvette versus Cayman
Yes Corvette is far better than people give it credit. Porchee is over rated in my book and too small to begin with. I can at least fit into a Corvette. Rock on Corvette!!!

OKTOBER FEST - October 2013 Car Spotters
Saw three Tesla's this morning at the Tesla Recharge lot in Bellevue. They just opened up a covered charge place right next to the doors into Nordstroms at Bellevue mall. So you buy a Tesla and get covered near front door access to Nordstroms and Ruths Chris Steak house at the Mall. Interesting and me without a Phone or camera. Will have to go back and take a picture to post for everyone to see. Pretty nice for a company that is wanting to reach out to the masses for sales.

Scion xD versus the Nissan Versa
I just stated where my first experiance was with Turbo, and even in the 90's Turbo was still not good, yet Superchargers Rock and have been a solid way to boost performance. I have seen many long life Supercharged V8 engines. I have not seen long life Turbo V8's. So for me, traditional pushrod V8 engines and Supercharged engines are what tends to go with long life in comparison to Turob. I will stay with my existing V8's as is till Turbo's get to what I precieve as a rock solid place without too big of a penalty in gas consumption since the marketing is Turbo gives you 4 banger high mileage with V8 power. I have not seen this yet in real world driving by those that do have turbo's.

REGAL : THE FUTURE
I expect the Regal will be totally redone as the mid lux sports car for the brand that would attract young people who have the extra money to move from the Chevy / Toyota basic cars to a Buick/Acura level car and are not ready for the Cadillac/Lexus level. I do not think Buick needs to go RWD. I personally think they can stay FWD and add AWD. An AWD Regal Sports sedan with a turbo 4 as entry and Turbo 6 as a Regal GS edition would do very nicely.

Cadillac News: First Look - Cadillac Escalade Interior
In 4 days we get to see the whole thing and really judge what the Slade will be in terms of Standard of the World Lux SUV's. Personally based on what I have seen and the focus GM is putting on growing and building Cadillac to be a top competitor in the Luxury space, I expect the new Escalade will eclispe anything BMW or MB has.

What vehicle would you buy that's outside of your "norm"?
CTS V Coupe Old XLR or Z01

CADILLAC SACRILEGE
Here the XTS seems to be doing well as I am seeing them everywhere and especially the private car services seem to be buying them. Lucky no one seems to like fake cloth tops so I have not seen any yet.

2013 Hyundai Sonata SE 2.0T
Great write up, for me the Coupe design everyone has and is old. Agree with the interior, in todays competition of multi colored warm interiors, this dark matter spot called an interior is DOA.

Biggest one day stock drop due to auto Fire in Seattle Suburb
Shares of Tesla stock dropped today due to a video showing a tesla on highway 167 in south seattle catching on fire after hitting some steel in the road. Leaving one to wonder just how easy is it for these electric auto's to catch on fire and possibly kill someone. The incident happened at approximately 8am and was posted on WSDOT Cam web site and local news. It soon became the talk of the office in regards to how safe are these auto's and should they be allowed to be on the road? Seattle Times had the following story. http://seattletimes.com/html/businesstechnology/2021951388_teslastockxml.html?syndication=rss http://www.youtube.com/embed/q0kjI08n4fg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0kjI08n4fg&feature=player_embedded

Scion xD versus the Nissan Versa
At least in the Pacific NW SAAB is one of those weird anomoly's that you see randomly from time to time. The few old SAAB's that I did see or have had a chance to talk to the owners they all talk about having to rebuild the engine and turbo within 100-150K miles. I understand the technology and what it can do for Diesels as that is well known and used here yet gas Turbo's are not common here and do not seem to hold up. Try and find an old Subaru around here, you might find a rare one that is still running but usually no old ones. My first experiance with Turbo was a Ford Mustang SVO 1984. While all maintenance was done following the factory recommendations, the motor still was replaced by Ford at 30K miles and at 65K the engine was toast again and It went out the door. Diesel being the lone exception, Turbo engines on cars from the 80's and 90's have left me with little faith and willing to let others be the test rats before I would go with one. I have more faith in Superchargers than turbo's. Superchargers like the 3800 engine GM made just last as long as the maintenance is done on them. Solid hard working Supercharged V6.

I could go for a rotory or Pushbutton shifter on the dash or on the edge of the center stack between chairs. That would continue to free up space for other items. Shifters on the center stack like my trailblazer SS tend to take away space for a basic drink cup.

Scion xD versus the Nissan Versa
The highest known mileage on a Saab was recorded by a guy named Peter Gilbert, from Wisconsin in the US. Peter’s 1989 Saab 900 SPG ticked over 1 million miles at the Saab Owners Convention held in the US back in 2006 with then-SaabUSA President Jay Spenchian in attendance. That car is now in the Wisconsin Automotive Museum. And if this was an easy repeatable thing for Turbo's we would have plenty of them still around today. One is awesome and great but does not instill in me the long term life of a small turbo engine compared to my pushrod V8 or V6 engines.
