  1. Very cool, I suspect someone who was too fresh in the corvette program 20 years ago is now senior in that program and was able to push through their version/vision of the corvette. I like both. Still wish they had not incorporated those rear vents into the tail lights as it looks like sad eyes.
  2. Sad, Lots of potential, but the Unions and Mgmt are to blame for the death of SAAB. They were starved of quality products, to many lemmings just sitting around taking a pay check without really trying to make a difference and grow the company. Then you have the stupid unionized plants that just sucked up money. All they could see what instant gratification rather than survival and eventually growing jobs. Nice history notes, nice concept cars which I am sure someone will poach some ideas from for their own auto's. I am surprised we have not see China Car companies poach more ideas from dead car lines. Imagine if you had GTO's inspired auto's from China. Hummer inspired 4x4's from China or some other country.
  3. Still find this car ugly, not sure what it is but I think it is that big nose on the front end that just turns me off. The rear quarter panels I like, but over all this just looks like a big Bozo car with it hunking nose.
  4. Looking at these pictures again, it dawn's on me how the front end has clear Speed Racer Car input. Go Speed Racer GOOOOOO
  5. So I ran across this baby in some old images I had at an autoshow with my dad, Gotta love old pictures. So I hunted these down online and decided we needed to start a thread of our First Love Affair with Auto's! Sound off on what was the first auto you saw that sent you on your way to just love Auto's. AMX3 for me! 1970 American Motors AMX/3 Prototype Tucked into the corner of the Chicago Auto Show, this may be the greatest American sports car that never was. Seeking to keep pace with Italian and Detroit automakers exploring mid-engine designs, American Motors commissioned its own take in 1970. Six copies of the AMX/3 were built in Italy, using a layout similar to a DeTomaso Pantera, powered by a 340-hp version of AMC's 390 V-8. Financial troubles would kill the AMX/3, but the six prototypes survived, including this one restored by the family of designer Richard Teague.
  6. They said below the 500 & 600 price of the PS3 more inline with what Microsoft has charged for new XBox's. This Xmas. Guess it will be a busy time for PS4 or what ever they call it and the New XBox. I am very excited for the new xbox.
  7. Way to go, very excited to see your new baby. Awesome choice!
  8. Or how many deep fried Twinkies they can stick in their mouth.
  9. I am sure any of us would love to live in that interior, but the exterior is unsettling. Not a fan, looks dated and old. Then most who can afford these are with old money.
  10. Um, you know the Fisker has a gas engine too right? There isn't a single thing stopping you from being able to drive one from your house to Portland Maine. Yes, but in regards to the pure electric only auto's I still put them in the luxury golf cart category. Fisker is still an ugly car to me, the volt style technology I had hoped would stay in the use with an American Investment group, but it seems it will become china property sooner than most think.
  11. Pass. Sony sat on their ass and lost, they OEM panels from Samsung and others, nothing new or great about Sony TV's, Camcorders, computers or even this game console. They are on a slow death march which on name alone will keep them going but eventually will fad away. XBOX that is a cool freaking console and the upgrade based on what I have read and what I have seen on campus will blow this away. Better options than the over priced Sony stuff.

Naw something was weird as I could not see it either so I went and Bing'd it and posted what I found. Love it
  13. Luxury Golf Carts for Inner City use is the best use at this time. They are not sensible or practical for real world use across any decent distance.
  14. weird, looks like something from the Buck Rogers in the 21st century show.
  15. That is one sweet ride. Very sharp
  16. Love that C50 I would buy it if I had money and it was available.
  17. Doors Cool, Exterior reminds me of the old Ford Probe, very ugly and the rear quarter panel sides reminds me of that first Honda ugly hybrid. The Dash is blah also and while I am impressed with the technical aspect of the car, I find no passion in the body, the interior or anything else for that. Souless car.
  18. So what is the status of this cool little number? Did you do it?
  19. Scallops
  20. Very Cool engine, but the car is butt ugly and to much mini van style.
  21. Very Cool Video! With Gas prices expected to hit $5+ a gallon this summer, I say do it as a CNG auto. 130 Octane, fuel at home and save big time for those tires you will be replacing every weekend.
