  1. Yes with higher prices and less features. steel your money with blah design.
  2. True, but then for 15K I would expect an integrated Instrument cluster. This one looks like it will easily break off if a person hit it just right with their hand.
  3. Nothing really blew me away but I will say I liked the look of the Bentley race car. The porsche station wagon is just blah, auto makers have been there and done that.
  4. DOHC is older technology than OHV pushrod, so your theory fails. Furthermore, by being able to have larger displacement due to the packaging of the engine, pushrod engines can give you more torque at lower RPM, meaning they don't need to rev to 7,000rpm to move the car. The Buick Roadmaster V8 and Honda S2000 both have 240 horsepower, but in the same car, the LT-1 V8 would kick the Honda's ass because it also had 360 ft-lbs of torque while the Honda can barely manage 180 ft-lb. I agree that due to Marketing, people are all caught up in the DOHC V8, V6 or 4 bangers and yet other than horsepower, they suck always on the torque front and that is what is really needed in efficient small auto's. You need a car that can be moved around really well, not a rocket from red light to red light. I can see GM winning with a 140hp/250lbs of torque 4 banger push rod engine. I truly believe they can build a more efficient version than depending on the DOHC crud. lol, I drive with 140hp/255lbs now... but I use 8 bangs to get it. Those are 8 very respectable Bangs!
  5. The interior just does not impress me. Looks Cheap and an afterthought.
  6. Compressed Natural Gas
  7. I feel for you my friend. Hang in there, things will get better. We just need to get through this stupid political BS season and hopefully people will vote on the right person to do the job rather than toe a party line as both sides have failed to really take home the important message of rebuilding America while controlling costs. Do we really need to be the world police with 1081 military bases and 500 covert black op bases paying 1.5 trillion in rent to countries that do not like us? If we closed down just half of the bases and spent that money on rebuilding our roads, electrical grid to be redundant and clean water plus invested in our public schools to have smaller class size so the student can have teacher time to really learn we would be strong and much better off. No this does not make us isolationist but allows us to invest in making our country stronger. We all are feeling the pain, but until people get their personal debt under control, we will have stagnant growth. Even the rich are holding off on spending money other than for essentials.
  8. Truly reminds me of the early days of SciFi shows.

  10. +1, this is only good for parting out. Trash car. Should not even be allowed to be sold as a drivable auto as it will kill someone.
  11. WHO CARES, a car for the 1% crowd and over rated as it is not a car for road trips, just showing off and commuter. It will never be for the masses and not have any real affect on society. If they want to have a big affect and make money, then license their supposed 300 mile electric technology to the big auto companies to get it to the masses.
  12. I agree, any hood ornament inspired by pin up girls is always cool!
  13. Would be fun to have with a modern engine under the hood.
  14. Break
  15. Spelling Please? were scapped. from the second paragraph.
  16. Probably the best looking version of the forester from these pictures. Still a station wagon and still seems small to me. The Subaru crowd will like it though.
  17. Rash
  18. Very True and common sense, electric is an in city limited commuter car. Not a real world solution. You also add the very dirty power coal provides and the amount of green house gas emitted is crazy high compared to far superior fueling options like CNG.
  19. Very Smart, Build a specialty that allows those few dealerships to have that extra Jewel in their crown. I think Chevy should do this with the Corvette ZR1. Any 100,000K auto should be a special program as it deserves special recognition.
  20. This is a great CUV for my parents as a retirement awd fully loaded at $33,000. I like it allot.
  21. Is it me or does the image of the arcadia look worse than when they first introduced the auto? The picture above makes it look like it was in a fight and has a black eye. Not a fan of the head lights with that black ring around it.
  22. Boy I sure do hope that Dodge gets a better nose as these are some freakin ugly vans. Wonder what the quality will be like.
  23. Why does all these Sh&TBricks so noisy and tinny feeling. To me while I can see it being roomy for the under 5'8" crowd, they seem cramped and then deliver all the noise in the world rather than a relaxing driving experiance. Just seem to be so lacking yet then it is a cheap entry level starter car.
  24. So Sweet, my rental was the same color, Silver. Glad to hear you hd a great drive.
