Buick News: Buick To Drop Name Badge Beginning in 2019
I get the point of an export auto able to go to any market if they do not have to worry about having a specific badge on an auto. Buick on US bound auto's versus no Buick on all the rest, makes it easier to fulfill orders if your not having to deal with a Name or no Name on the auto. Makes business sense.

You will love the Envision, they are awesome CUVs. My sister is really happy with hers and I know it has made me a fan again. They are great roomy very quiet auto's.

Thank you, I bing'd and googled it but did not come up with anything that made sense. Guess I might just be a bit too nerdy of an engineer to think that low into the gutter. Course now that I get it, I can laugh about it.

OK, just like late night TV that is supposed to be comedy and I never got it so why bother watching, I do not get what is so funny or why BREAD 8 would be a band license plate?

I like them dropping the name, no need when you have the badge there.

OK, so then our basic HD trucks pollute more than these medium commercial trucks and so they have to be detuned?

VW News: There Will Not Be A Successor to the Volkswagen Beetle
But as we have already seen, this is not a death for ever of the bug and they clearly can bring it back when there is more demand, but at this point the bulk of society that wants a bug has a bug and the larger more profitable market has moved onto CUV's and clearly a demand for the VW Bus again or aka ID Buzz.

Toyota News: Please Stop Asking About A Turbocharged 86 or BRZ Says Chief Engineer
Totally agree since there are multiple Turbo kits out for the auto's as is. Does make one wonder if they are looking to make the next generation an EV or Hybrid.

Chevrolet News:Chevrolet Silverado Adds Medium Duty To The Family
Good thoughts, be interesting to find out, if the engine is a pre exhaust fluid, then they should have updated to the current tune with exhaust fluid. All commercial companies love torque to tow and move their loads. Be interesting to see what Bill digs up. Thanks

Chevrolet News:Chevrolet Silverado Adds Medium Duty To The Family
I am all for cleaner but in reading it again based on your reply, the engine is the same in both auto's just a different tune that allows it to meet the emissions requirements for the weight class. That is how I read it myself. @William Maley Bill is it two different engines or the same engine with two different tunes?

Honda News: A Slow Start for the 2018 Honda Accord
Toyota is wanting to keep everyone as far away from their golden goose as possible and Honda is going to have to accept that the investment to keep their Accord on par with the Camry comes with the cost of having to take less money upfront to recover R&D. It might be a great improvement, but most people have moved away from cars and to have 600 sitting on a lot is just crazy. Cost of doing business when you are the #1 or #2 car in a shrinking segment. I would not be surprised to see most automakers reduce their cars to just a couple.

And you continue to FEAR that CHANGE is inevitable. Buyers are NOT Buying Manuals, Buyers are not buying Bugs, Personal Choice of lifestyle has made CUV the king now, fact supported by Sales Numbers. Yes everything is probably paid for so that they could continue to produce their small number of bugs, but then the assembly line is needed to produce other items that have bigger desire by the public. As Drew stated, Choice is what will finally have EVs take off and that is coming. Lucky for you your job will still be around due to idiots crashing their EV's no different than ICE auto's. Repairs must be made.
