  1. Skip the Sedan for the next 5-8 years, focus on CUV's and EV's and yes get the Truck into the Market Stat!
  2. I can see what you mean, after all why buy the Ford GT when you can have two of these for the price of one GT. So under powered compared to this.
  3. Thank you, I read it but just zoned on realizing they want a cover over the engine to supposedly protect the pedestrians. Crazy stupid I think, but OK, it is socialist Europe.
  4. Awesome ride, the ATS with the 2.0T is a blast to drive. Enjoy it!
  5. Love the look of this corvette in that gun metal grey color or what ever Chevy is calling it. One question is how is this not pedestrian friendly? They say it cannot be sold in Europe cause the front end is not pedestrian safe. The black grill reminds me of the Italian super cars, either the lambo or ferrari, cannot remember which right now, but it looks good.
  6. Remodel Time it sounds like.
  7. Clearly you are so blinded by MB cool aid that you have not read the info from BMW where they are using their i platform to build all new auto's, so the X3e is named to fit with the ICE X3, but is not a conversion of ICE but a true EV built on their dedicated EV platform. You really need to learn to accept the fact that MB is not first in everything or first all the time in the auto industry. Every dog has their Day and MB day is not right now or in the near future, but playing catch up to Tesla and GM like everyone else.
  8. Seems BMW will beat MB to the punch as supposedly on Nov 29th BMW will show off at LA auto show their new X3e EV CUV. http://www.greencarreports.com/news/1113721_bmw-to-debut-electric-car-concept-at-la-show-electric-mini-makes-u-s-debut
  9. I will have to say that the market is going to cool off and everyone will be down in 2018 as people await a bevy of new EV / PHEV auto's in 2019 as 2020 models.
  10. OUCH, wishing you all the best for the family cat. Dog person myself, but the animals are a family member and it sucks when they are hurt. Hope all goes well for you. Yea, was one of those Fold extended vans with fronts slicks on, Figure they must have been racing it at the track.
  11. Some countries just take more time to get up on trends than others. Heck, Asia is like 30 years behind us still.
  12. Already have that with idiot ICE owners. Cannot say how many lovely auto's are destroyed by morons especially it would seem catholics and mormons with their minivans full of family and yet rubber half way ripped on the wiper scratching the windows lack of any respect. In this regards many people today see an auto regardless of the powertrain as a simple disposable appliance for getting from point A to point B. I feel it is only those of us that have a passion for the auto industry and sports car fans that seem to take care of their auto. Otherwise, less maintenance is good, as you pointed out, just changing windshield wipers seems to be a challenge let alone proper air in the tires and changing them once you hit 10% tread left. I see so many idiot auto's with bald tires. The Hotel I stayed at in North Carolina, Marriott at Triangle Research Park had bald tires on it and I pointed it out and the driver said not my problem or responsibility. So I told the manager when I got there that if a tire blows and I am in it, I will sue them. Interesting that it was gone later that day and the next day I saw it had new tires on it.
  13. Only one distraction to me and that is the auto company putting their own symbols on the rear trunk in the lower right corner. I HATE auto dealerships that seem to think they have a right to put their dealership name and symbol on your auto.
  14. That is awesome to know, I need variation in terrain. The year I lived in Texas was crazy how flat that state is. Had to move out.
  15. Agree with you that fuel economy is a challenge for some of Fords Products. Looks Very flat there, I think I would miss my mountains and hills. But cool to see, thanks for sharing.
  16. This could be very cool if they truly move Bentley into a 22nd Century EV Auto Design. Might actually wake up their blah outdated auto design.
  17. I do not like coffee, but I hear putting a small amount of butter in your coffee is amazing or cinnamon which my wife and daughter do. Never thought about doing it to my tea.
  18. I hope Ford, GM and Ram take advantage of the growth too. Very cool.
  19. Yea saw that here too: https://www.autoblog.com/2017/09/15/subaru-wtx-sti-nurburgring-record-run-video/ Yes special race version, not a production street daily driver version. So it holds little in the comparison to the rest of production street driven versions.
  20. Understand the Max word, but as far as consistent identical points of measuring from, this is all over the map. I agree that Cadillac needs a Sport and V edition for the Escalade, yet they already have the V that clearly goes toe to toe with the AMG badge in the car side. Time to bring it on the CUV / SUV side. Yet even then, they still do not fully compete against the Escalade line.
  21. Also depending on where you measure from. Every Auto Maker seems to have a different point on where you measure from. GLS is tight and the seats are terrible for comfort compared to the Escalade. My German Ass has been in both and the comfort is not there in the GLS for large people like me no matter that the so called measurements are close to the Escalades. Why do you also not address that fact that the Escalade ESV has even more cargo room, interior passenger comfort room. Right, MB is too scared to actually build a real competitor. Rather focus on their 40+ year old screw mismatched G-Wagon or their S Brand. Seems MB is a bit scared to really compete in the Luxury Full Size SUV space.
  22. I love Roller Coasters, so I just tighten my stick belt and fly fast like the devil trying to escape a church! I cracked a few bolts to enlighten the sky as I went over. Gotta love the whole hair plastered back by the rain and the wind in your face as you fly fast. After all, My Stick is a SuperCapacitor Powered EV version. I gave up the witches Brew powered version to keep the air cleaner for everyone! Stop by a Discount Tire or La Schwab and have them reset all your TPMS sensors in the wheels. I hit this with one of my SUV's and that reset and then kept them constant. Weird but sometimes a complete reset of all 4 sensors fixes the weird 1-2 lbs difference.
  23. Yea, Level 5 is not ready for prime time or for humanity yet. Not enough Lemmings are afraid of driving to give up their freedom yet. I love the EV's, but hate the self driving thing 24x7. I love to drive, will not quit till I have too.
  24. Agree, keep the comparison in an apple to apple, not an apple to Lime.
  25. Since the wife was going to drive it the most and she has to see it every day and I care about making sure she is happy like any of us with our spouses, yes, sadly the white dash accent was a deal killer. If the dash was all black, we would have one. So now I await the new EV's from GM and hope they do not mess it up. If they had the Mocha trim or dark brown accent dash, she would have gone for that as she loves the brown interiors and the warmth it gives over black. But not going to spend money on a new auto till she really likes it. After all no auto payments at all, so just save till the right EV comes along and BOOM, we will have it. Then I will show it off and share the experience with you all.
