  1. Dating myself, but when I used to work in the retail industry, this was in 1991, I was a Manger and helped open up the Computer City chain across the US. grew it from 8 original stores to the hundreds before it was sold to CompUSA. No one got off the Holidays. Pretty much you could forget any vacation request for Mid Nov to the end of the year. We do need to ensure families have time and ban having places open on Holidays as well as open up before say 6am on the day after the Holiday. That was what I always felt. Course as a computer engineer now, I pretty much am M-F with weekends and holidays off.
  2. Yawn, Nothing special here, just a Fire Sale to clear out GARBAGE Auto's. Fiat, you want to sell cars in America? First start with making reliable cars. Second start with making auto's that actually fit Americans. Third, try to actually have a diverse portfolio rather than coping Mini with the same half baked garbage. Fourth, drop the used car sales approach and listen to the customer. I could go on and on but I think you get the point, FCA, you listening?
  3. We should start a movement to ban all work on holidays other than food, hotels, for the most part ensure almost everyone gets the time off. Family time is important.
  4. I wonder why GM has not thought of testing the waters and using in wheel hub motors, replace the whole underside with a battery pack on the Suburban? http://www.proteanelectric.com/ I really like some of the AWD auto's they have done to try and get OEMs to consider using their motors. The F150 is awesome.
  5. Short Work week and having a hard time focusing on actually doing work!
  6. Come on out, Little Korea is awesome up in my neck of the woods. China town in Seattle, Little Japan in Bellevue and little Saigon in Renton. So many great places to visit and eat. Yea, I also got burnt out on normal Turkey and we now do just our favorites on T-Day. So for us, we actually cook a big Chicken, Ham, Candid Yams, Mash Potatoes, Stuffing and a Variety of Asian dishes. Have a tone of people over and a relaxing day of eating, socializing and being thankful for living in such a DIVERSE Country!
  7. That is OK ccap, I hold no grudges and you are welcome to all my turkey. I eat all your ham! Hell Yes! Thai, Japanese, Korean I am down for anything Asian. Dec 10 My wife and I will host our annual Mandu making party. For those not familiar with the term, that is Korean dumplings or pot stickers. We usually make a good 500 to 1000. Everyone gets to take some home and we have plenty for our New Years Day soup plus some crunchy Mandu during the holidays!
  8. Why oh why does so many people think Turkey rocks, when Ham is so far yummier! Looking forward to eating my Ham, Candied Yams and stuffing on Thursday. Family, friends and a day of socializing. Poor Pencil, you might need some mental health counseling.
  9. Observations, This has that bunker look. Poor visibility. Wonder how many people will sue when family and friends end up hurt or worse. Coupe roof style. Over done, old and just a waste of potential interior space. Unless the rear seats are lower than the front seats, poor headroom, will be hard for anyone of tall size over the US average of 5'8" The back end could be the front end. Which way is the auto driven? Glad you guys like it but for me, it is ugly and way to many negatives to even be considered.
  10. Just think the couple that slip through the cracks and become barn finds in 20 years.
  11. Seattle passes are snowing like crazy and some time this Turkey day week the ski resorts will finally open! Wish we had a ski emoji!
  12. Agree, I would think the time to engineer, test, retro fit and cover all the cost would be more than just crushing them and moving forward.
  13. Agreed, I have BF Goodrich on my suburban and all 4 came in around the same price as you mention.
  14. Idea, Could it have been put on but never really snapped into place and so it popped off and slipped down behind the carpet covering? Did you think to look behind it and see if it is there?
  15. Ugh, why steal some of the butt ugly Juke style and that damn F-ing coupe crape. This is supposed to be a CUV, not a frickin car stretched up ugly as hell. What a waste. @Wings4Life Toyota, Not Honda, I have to totally disagree with you. If FORD copies this crapy design language, it will truly fail. Not a design that should be done more than the once by Nissan. This will be Toyota's Aztec.
  16. I hit this earlier, now much better, but I still hit it in the thread where I posted 3 pictures of rims for Frisky GTI and 1 of the 3 failed to load. I tried again and it loaded. Very weird as I had not seen this myself before today.
  17. Here are some nice rims that would look good on it. Black Chrome Black with Red accent
  18. Very nice, it is a clean looking nice machine. Ever thought of having the rims Black Chromed? that would go really nice with the rest of the package.
  19. What my Trailblazer SS does not count?
  20. Very nice it will serve you well.
  21. Alfa should have been left dead. Close Fiat and reinvest all those billions stolen into new product for the real money makers of FCA.
  22. Very cool, excited to hear when you have the coolant in and it is running long term. Way to go Mr. B
  23. Nice ride, enjoy your new toy.
  24. Hey @GMTruckGuy74 I use the following 4 web sites to get all my GM parts. Weird but you can actually find differences in the price and some parts have shipping from one site but none from another yet the selling price is the same. Over all they are the best priced sites I have found. http://www.gmpartsdirect.co/ http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/ https://gmpartsheadquarters.com/ http://www.gmpartsgiant.com/ It does look like it was missing from day one.
  25. Yes that is me in the Bolt!
