  1. So you detail auto's for a living or what? Never really knew what you did for work.
  2. Happy B-Day Cruiser, Hope you have a blast of a day!
  3. Car is nice, I love the clean dash and minimal buttons and knobs. Some like Acura are overloaded with way to many buttons and knobs. A good balance between touch screen and actual knowbs/buttons is the right approach and eventually everyone will be ready for a complete touch screen and no buttons or knobs.
  4. Which one does better in which situation?
  5. This kind of selling will always kill a car. http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?zip=98043&endYear=2015&modelCode1=CRUZE&showcaseOwnerId=563264&startYear=2013&makeCode1=CHEV&searchRadius=0&showcaseListingId=368646355&trim1=CRUZE|Diesel&mmt=[CHEV[CRUZE[CRUZE%257CDiesel]][]]&listingId=368857738&Log=0 MSRP$ 27,490 Asking Price $ 36,740 and no explanation for the over kill price? Auto Trader has 1,119 listed for sale starting at a low 11K miles for $20,990 all the way up to the crazy black over MSRP $36K one. http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/Chevrolet/Cruze/Mountlake+Terrace+WA-98043?endYear=2015&makeCode1=CHEV&mmt=[CHEV[CRUZE[CRUZE|Diesel]][]]&modelCode1=CRUZE&searchRadius=0&showcaseListingId=368646355&showcaseOwnerId=563264&sortBy=derivedpriceASC&startYear=2013&trim1=CRUZE|Diesel&Log=0 Some nice looking low mileage options.
  6. I think we all have the dictionary definition of Arts and Science, but it would be interesting to hear from the Cadillac Division on what they think it stands for.
  7. They have it right, make the dealers compete on service. If you truly offer superior service for a small increase in purchase cost I will buy, but if you as most dealers do, harass me to the point of hating the buying experience and lack of service, then prepare to go out of business. There was a reason for these laws long ago, but not any more. Time to update to the 21st century and dealerships who screwed over customers will go away which is what capitalism is all about. Service, Service, Service at a fair price.
  8. Old News and the Attorney's General needs to focus on the morons in office that failed the people plus the old Executives not the current new ones trying to turn things around.
  9. Good move to pay a person for their time and hope to conquest them with a new auto purchase. Now we just need to get them to realize that owning a Deville, Eldorado, Escalade, is a superior thing over the ATS, CTS, XTS, SRX crap. Really when you think about it, you can envision a two door Eldorado today, a luxury Deville and a Extended platform Deville like in China as well as an Escalade and Escalade ESV. Current naming does not stick nor have any history to really make me think luxury.

    Tesla News

That is priceless. Guess he got some good stuff to go on a trip like that. Or all those electronics are truly playing with his mind!
  11. Some additional versions of Mini Trucks. I think Scion should focus on this.
  12. Scion could survive if they truly go back to the original Formula of Sub Sub Compact, Sub Compact and Compact and nothing else. Have it in sedan, coupe, CUV and true Mini Pickup. They should have a series of trucks like the Mich Truck. http://www.michtrucks.com/ Or something like this old but cool mini truck.
  13. I agree with Drew, This is the start of a downward decline for Subaru. Here in Seattle where Subaru is not only the official car of the US Ski Team, but is heavily used by the masses to get up to the ski resorts. You see almost exclusively Hatchbacks. On the mountain talking with some coworkers who all had bought new cars in the last 6 months. Everyone of them had the hatchback and said this will make them look at other companies if Subaru is not going to make an AWD Hatchback. The most interesting comment was Steve and Brian both told me they have owned WRX or STI's since they first came to America all due to their game playing habit. Yet if Subaru is not going to have a hatchback, then they will look as AWD CUV's from other companies that have more room in the same size package since they are both married now and starting families. They wish they could stay but they said if Subaru is truly going to ignore 50% of their customers, then they will look elsewhere in 2yrs. Wrong Move, Bad Move, Idiot move.
  14. Chat is working fine again. Scarlet and I are in chatting.
  15. I expect Scion to do a slow death due to Toyota trying to figure out how to get back on top of the game since they have strong challanges from Korea and the US again on top of Europe pushing hard. I would be surprised if Scion is here after 2020. After all, Toyota already has cars in this segment and there is really nothing special Scion offers or ever did.
  16. Agreed, Imagen a Escalade shape and look but in a Compact Luxury CUV package. That would ROCK!
  17. As I have said before, I believe this is a love it or hate it refresh of the front end. Everything else looks fine to me.
  18. Personally these are the ugliest Predator Mouth Compact CUV's I have seen. Buick has them all beat so far and that does include the X1 which I am not impressed with either.
  19. There is always a fool and his money that are soon parted. I expect most of these to go to Limo Service at major cities around the world.
  20. Awesome, Thank you Drew, have a great Holiday!
  21. Awesome, way to go NOS, Look forward to hearing more.
  22. It is interesting that Tesla is now in the midst of trying to get the states and tax payers to pay or heavily subsidies the creation of a plant that would make the batteries in the US from North America Sources raw materials. Full story on how California is working to try and keep Tesla and Musk in the state while Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and even Texas are all considered sites for the battery plant and the estimated 6500 jobs it would create as the push is on to build 500,000 batteries and cars within 3 years or about 2017 or 2018 depending on when the ground breaks. Thoughts? http://www.sacbee.com/2014/04/20/6336181/dan-morain-california-could-be.html Interesting is this story on the plant building the 500,000 batteries by 2020, but says it would be built with either Panasonic or Samsung. http://gigaom.com/2014/02/27/the-sheer-size-of-teslas-massive-battery-factory-could-be-a-game-changer-in-many-ways/
  23. G. David Felt Alternative Fuels & Propulsion writer www.CheersandGears.com Ever here of BYD? Do not feel bad if you do not know this 38 Billion conglomeration business that is based out of China and builds everything from Solar panels to electric auto's. Warren Buffet owns 10% and has stated he feels they will be a major player in the the world wide push to Electric Autos. So why would people easily forget all the rage that Tesla is you might ask? Try an Electric Bus that will travel 155 miles on a single charge. That is right, BYD bought a defunct RV manufacturing plant in California and is ready to roll off the first pure electric bus that will be delivered to the local mass transit. They are also building locally the battery packs and putting people to work locally in california.
