  1. G. David Felt Alternative Fuels & Propulsion writer www.CheersandGears.com 2015 GM Bi-fuel CNG pricing! This week GM released the 2015 pricing for their Bi-fuel options on Silverado and Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD trucks as well as the Chevy Express and GMC Savana Cargo and Passenger Vans. Chevy and GMC Trucks Bi-fuel CNG option starts at $9500 for the option. Chevy and GMC full size vans can be purchased with the CNG option in a 3 tank ($10,825) or 4 tank ($12,090) configuration. GM Warrants the Bi-fuel auto's on their current 5 year or 100,000 mile powertrain warranty which ever comes first. These auto's are serviced at all dealers nationwide in the United States. CNG is currently priced on average 62% less per gallon than gasoline and with an average work truck driving 26,000 miles a year this equates to a $2000 savings per year. http://media.gm.com/media/us/en/gm/news.detail.html/content/Pages/news/us/en/2014/Apr/0415-cng-pricing.html Full details on fuel savings and actual specifications on the Bi-fuel CNG trucks can be read here: http://media.gm.com/media/us/en/gm/news.detail.html/content/Pages/news/us/en/2014/Feb/chicago/chevrolet/0206-silverado-hd-cng.html Full Specifications on the 2015 Chevy and GMC 2500 and 3500 Trucks.
  2. Finally Found it, so 3500KG (7716lbs) towing but bed empty and 6000KG (13227LBS) bed and trailer full with the 2.8L Duramax. http://en.chevrolet.co.th/cars/colorado/model-overview.html
  3. So the mid size trucks GM will have as an option the 2.8L Duramax with 200 hp/370 lb-ft. I have been searching but have not found anything on what the hauling and towing estimates will be. Does anyone have a idea either backed by engine know how of what these trucks can haul or have seen any GM documentation that would indicate what it can haul / Tow? I have been searching for the over seas spec and not found it yet, but then not very good doing a search for this info. Please post if you find it.
  4. Mehhh, Looks blah inside and out. Does nothing for me nor would it inspire me to want to drive it or own it. Maybe it is the pictures, but it looks tight and small inside.
  5. They might not when their 6.4L V8 loses a race to a 3.5 V6 aluminum F-150. I would take that OLD V8 to your new overworked, over bloated V6 any day. I have driven and spent time with the V6 that Ford does and while an impressive engineering exercise, it is not a 250K or 500K mile motor. They are making auto's that go to the recycle bin at 100K now and causing people to have to spend more on their auto's. V8's are for Hauling and other extreme duty needs that the V6 city boy is not really up to par for.
  6. WOW, UGLY! So they push out the Lexus front grill toned down or what I would call the BIG MOUTH BILLY BASS front end. Does nothing for appeal at all. The interior is just as bad, a slasher job of a dash. Someone must have been on a predator and slasher film binge when they designed this car and the Lexus line. Terrible, Terrible design language.
  7. I like the toned down buck tooth grill but over all a snoozer sedan that will be an upgrade for those Honda Fans that are ready to pay more money for the name alone. Very conservative, it might for those frusterated with the poor quality of Lexus conquest those buyers.
  8. Based on the comments here, Dodge has done with the Charger what Ram did with their trucks. Love it or hate it look that will have people talking about it. If anyone can photo shop this into an all black model like the cops are doing as sleeper unmarked cars that would be great.
  9. I am surprised they would want to show a car like this at such a big show with flaws that one would notice. I hope this is not an indication of the direction GM is going.
  10. I love the Challanger packages, very good and should sell well for them and there is something for everyone including the collectors. In regards to the Charger, I love that they kept the indent on the front doors and the huanches and the rear is nice. The Interior I really like and as such feel it will still sell well for them. The Nose, I am mixed on. I see the point in getting better areo dynamics for MPG, but it lost the Charger Look and now looks vague, plain forgetable. Nice but forgetable. Not sure if it will grow on me or not. Mixed about the front Nose job. This is like Baby from Dirty Dancing, She got a nose job and became forgetable and only now is making it back into TV and Movies.
  11. I like the evolutionary look on the outside. Much better than the Honda or Toyota auto's. Interior is nice but slab bland. I am sure for people who like a utilitarian auto to get from point a to b this will win hands down.
  12. Thanks Drew for adding shots from the floor. This is still a very ugly car to me. The Front on shot makes those lower chrome areas stand out like zits on this ugly face.
  13. Very Cool, Happy B-Day to where ever you are!
  14. Since most of us wondered why GM did not offer this sooner for Chevy as a notch below the Encore. I wonder if it is because they wanted to maximize sales of the encore knowing that if they brought out the chevy, there would be people who would ignore Buick for Chevy due to old age stigma?
  15. Like the Dodge, the other two are Mehhh!
  16. Always ugly before the light comes through. They should use this time to purge old GM thinking. Time for new fresh blood to fully turn GM into the World Class company it is capable of.
  17. I actually love the look, very SUV. Impressed with the technology, hope it is reliable. Question, where is the engine specific's? Nothing about the power train?
  18. Initial impression is a nice looking CUV with what is becoming a trend of Mean, Pissed off Headlamps. Over all will be a hit for Nissan. Rear is my least favorite part, the whole coupe pinched butt look with reduction in headroom and cargo room is just so old school and tired IMHO. Interior I like very much as a clean but flowing dash and interior look. Not a fan of White as it shows all dirt and is a pain to keep clean. Yet with the few items I am not thrilled by, I will say this is a hit and should sell well for them.
