GM News: GM Making Major Changes in Russia
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in General Motors
I would say Putin is getting his wish to go full Communism again as their supreme dictator. No reason to build auto's there when you cannot get the profits out or have to pay crazy pay off amounts. Too corrupt for bottom cars so might as well sell the high end models with decent profits. -
General Motors Head-Up Display History

I agree, that HUD is a safety feature GM should have on all models and market the hell out of! -
Hyundai News:Hyundai Considers Whether or Not To Do A Pickup
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Hyundai
Have to say this is a Sharp little Pickup. I like the style for this Car based Pickup. As I have said on the Canyon / Colorado threads, GM missed the opportunity to build a true Mini Pickup and run with it. Now it looks like Hyundia just might do it. Do not get me wrong the new Canyon / Colorado are awesome rides for a Mid Size truck. I still think many people want a mini pickup for their Inner City living or suburban living with Home Depot runs on the weekend. Sharp Looking side profile!- 1 reply

Chrysler News: Chrysler Bids Adieu To UK Market
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Chrysler
LOL, There is a continual loss on a lousy product line. I would take a Chrysler product over any Fiat or Alfa product. It is understandable as UK is a much smaller place so having big auto's is not going to sell well anyway. Be interesting to see how long any of the Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram products stay in Europe. -
Not happy with the dropping of the Cruze Diesel. GM has yet to fully clean their ranks of stupid Executives and dump the lousy marketing to cover better alternative fuels. I know somewhere in the Ivory Towers of GM idiots are saying "See we told you America would not buy Diesels and we wasted money" Yet reality is if they had invested in marketing and telling the story about Diesel, CNG, etc they could have much better sales. Average people rarely hear about these things till too late and this is again another one that is a lost good cause as Diesel Cruze owners for the most part are pretty happy.

Chevrolet News:Coming for 2016 - Chevrolet Suburban HD
G. David Felt replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in Chevrolet
Cool, I always loved the Suburban 2500 and missed my chance to trade in and buy a Suburban with the 454. Then later missed again due to other family needs mostly kids going to college to get an HD. I hope they due a full 2500HD package and prep it for an upcoming Duramax Baby v8 Diesel. I still believe that this is a segment that many would jump on if they could buy a diesel Suburban stock from GM. This also makes me wonder what the current GM Diesel Family looks like today and possibly into the Future. I know this was talked about in 2010.- 11 replies

Dodge News: Dodge Puts Hellcat Orders On A Temporary Hold
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Dodge
Very good news. Proves if you build it right they will come. GM are you listening? Proper Built Syclone and Typhoon will sell as will a updated SS Trailblazer, Hell give the Greenies some fun factor and build an EV SS. I know the motors are out there to have fun with so think outside the box.- 6 replies

2015 Chrysler Town and Country
G. David Felt replied to regfootball's topic in Member's Rides Showcase
Do not take it out of context. Up till this test, Chrysler mini vans did great, but now you add an off set quarter crash and of course they all fail. Sorry I DO NOT give Toyota a Pass, it was just as bad as the rest. So now they all have to re-engineer to cover this new test. His mom is happy with her safe mini van plus I am sure she does not drive it like a Nascar is driven. Every auto that has had high ratings on crash test seem to fail when a new test is performed that was not part of the original test set. Keep it all in perspective. -
Interesting, I would say this is clearly a test mule. While it does look like a possible LaCrosse, clearly those are not the taillights, raised but not the finished ones. Either way, if a new update is to be in dealerships by the end of this year, then you should have two great options. Newest and if the wife loves it great, if not, you should be able to find a killer deal on left over 2015's then. Happy hunting.
