  1. All photos posted here have been pre-production models that have been made at the plant where the Impala is made actually I belief. They just aren't the "final" model for customers to buy.
  2. The Aqua Blue LS model with the steel wheels is at Disney World Test Track (GM sponsered). The black LS with steel wheels was found in a Florida parking lot. The Yellow SS was found in a parking lot. The red SS was driven by someone on a Camaro forum I believe. All are pre-production models actually production starts in Feb or Mar of this year. So you will see them at dealers by sometime in March I would bet.
  3. Just non-Xexon headlights I belief, there are only two kinds.
  4. It was the only unique vehicle GMC had... At least Pontiac has the Vibe, G8 and Solstice once Saturn goes away. :AH-HA_wink:
  5. I do belief ultimately you will see Pontiac stay even if we have a "dark period" for a while. Once GM fixes up its other problems and will see them come into BPG showroom and file in around Buick's nicely with products like the G8 and Vibe etc. Trust me I am being positive and could be wrong. I just keep wonding if GM would have put that money into Pontiac instead of Saturn where would we be? Alot better off.
  6. I am not sure on this one. I think what we have hear works fine. Then again I keep an open mind.
  7. I am with Camino on the sad but well said. I am pretty sure you meant the STS is RWD and the DTS is FWD, you were just saying both are boats. I happen to respect both of those cars and if I was rich would have a copy of both in my fleet. I see your point about them being large and "oldish" but hey I am not a spring chicken any more either. :smilies-38096: I loved my first Cadillac. As for Pontiac if you said ends up happening which I kind-of doubt because after GM cleans house this first time around with Saturn, Saab and Hummer I think it will free up alot more for Pontiac, and all the other brands. That is what I am hoping, anyways. If GM is done with Pontiac I could very well be done with GM and have been buying GM forever. My son whom loves Pontiac will prolly be done with them as well. My next car will be a used GM vehicle but after that if Pontiac is around but I has no product I want I would prolly get a Chevy maybe a Buick (a big maybe). If Pontiac dies I might just very well be done with GM, so no I might no jump over to Buick or Chevrolet like they want me too. You just won't see me in an import ever. Unless it is a Honda. How GM treats Pontiac will effect how I treat GM and I have a few more cars to buy yet, well more than a few. My son will too, even if they need re-badges for a few years when things get better Pontiac is a brand that has value and can be great again. Time will tell. Better hold onto my Bonneville for a classic the way things seem to be going now, if I don't my son will. :AH-HA_wink:
  8. I think you mean the STS is RWD and the DTS is FWD. I happen to like both of those products alot, they appeal to me more than any CTS save for the V model. I think you said alot of thinking that are sadly true. Time will tell how stupid they end up being. I hoping not very. Killing Pontiac totally would be a game changer for me, and might force me to buy a non-GM car once Pontiac dies. We will all have to wait and see, I wish GM the best.
  9. The STS is not FWD it is RWD. I happen to respect both the DTS and STS for what they are. Sad like LS6 but true. I am gonna wait and see.
  10. Well that is true you can't change the size or weight.
  11. Here is a yellow SS model... More of the Aqua Blue Metallic LS I love at Disney World...
  12. Ugly interior and the exterior is plain ugly.
  13. That is the way it should be.
  14. They won't capture sales from people like me if GM gets rid of Pontiac all together.
  15. I have respect for Saturn but never saw a need for them when they had plenty of core brands that they could have been working on.
  16. I could see Pontiac taking off in China and Russia actually.
  17. Proof that BPG will still work fine. Honestly Saturn, Saab and Hummer all do need to go. Then GM is down to what I consider core or traditional brands. I agree GMTruckguy, although I would never buy a GMC over a Chevrolet except in the case of the All Terrain, but I see a market for the Sierra and a more "premium" pick-up buyer. The rest can be killed sorry.
  18. I do happen to like the G6 the best in coupe form. Give me the 2009.5 refresh and 2.4L with the six speed automatic it would be fun and stylish. It is one of the nicest looking FWD two doors on the market. I liked coupes until I had kids, a wife basically before I had a life. I wanted my 90 GP to be a coupe or a Bonneville SSE but that never happend. That is life.
  19. If it was an '88 it was the first year for the 4.5 and yes it was a very good motor compared to the 4.1 which had many problems. I recall the Caddy dealer in town having almost lost many Cadillac customers who traded in ever 5 or so years because of that motor. Once the 4.5 came out it got much better and the 4.9 was even better yet. Before my 2005 SLE I had a 1992 Sedan Deville with the 4.9 and gosh it was a gem of a car except for the premium gas, and 14-15 mpg in my very hilly town. On the highway I actually got about 25 mpg and I was happy with that.
  20. I am betting a Challenger R/T six speed, a new Camaro (even tho you said no GM) or another GM or Dodge truck.
  21. I would line-up all your great old school cars for a photograph and make that your sig. Or just use project Mothertruck because it kicks a$$.
  22. I could see something like this happening as well. This is what I would be will end up happening.
  23. I agree volume is important and the brand is mostly rebadges so yes it is a no brainer to keep them, along with a more focused Pontiac it works for me. B/P/G could really be something in a few years with some great models and varity in their line-up. I am actually excited, so long as GM keeps their word on an updated and focused Pontiac.
  24. More photos of the Aqua Blue LS with my the 18 inch steel wheels I like so much... This time they are much better photographs, I really like the color and if I were to get one it would be white, Aqua Blue or Victory Red either stripper LS or 1SS. And the photographs... DUAL EXHAUST even on the V6 take that Mustang.
  25. I think GMC should stay so long as there is a market for them. If Pontiac stays even with 4 or 5 models GMC and Buick should stay too.
