A LOT of musical genius came out of Seattle. Im very impressed by that. Im not so impressed by all that rain. But then again, Ive NEVER been that way, so what the hell do I know about being Sleepless in Seattle (pop culture reference ) and the rain Seattle accumulates... Nirvana was the group that is mistakenly credited with "inventing" or "introducing" grunge to the world. Some say it was Neil Young. Maybe Nirvana was the first to popularize grunge.

I too, love Pearl Jam. Of course Boeing. I was just using the most simplistic stereotype of each region be funny. For shytes and giggles. I have nothinh against Seattle. Other than maybe, the rain.

Although I like Sandy Munro, I dont understand how he could come to a conclusion that only 3 (presumably he is ONLY talking about the ones from the US) automakers to survive when he 1. hasnt really seen anything Ultium from GM because GM hasnt really launched anything Ultium just yet therefore cannot possibly see what or how Utlium will do in the market place. He hasnt been able to see and give an opinion on Ultium on how good or bad or how it compares to Tesla, Ford and Rivian... How does HE know what tech the Lyriq will have? How does HE know what the public will do for the Lyriq? How does HE know how the EV Silverado will fare against the F150 EV both in the market place and tech wise? 2. Hasnt really seen anything of concrete from Rivian. Other than that one SUV... And isnt Rivian currently having production woes and financial woes? Let them get by the chip shortage, the inflation, the production woes of 2022 and 2023 and possibly 2024 and THEN we could talk about Rivian becoming the new Big 3 from Detroit... Is Rivian even from Detroit? 3. Ford. Nothing really concrete from Ford either. Other than the Mach E. The F150 EV aint out yet. He hasnt seen it to tear it down... Pretty bold statements to make also considering that Tesla's quality issues are a huge concern and Tesla's manufacturing capabilities are STILL questionable REGARDLESS if people will always flock to Tesla. People cant buy a Tesla if Tesla cant produce the cars to meet demand. IF Ford is THAT good, then people WILL go to Ford if Tesla cant meet demand. And they (Tesla) CANT meet demand. They increase production, quality goes further down the shyytter... Tesla stays neutral to where they can comfortably build, produce and have decent quality, and it WONT be enough. GM will further get left over sales... especially if Utlium is that good as they say it is... And they means not only GM engineers, other folk not named Sandy Munro... He is like, dooming GM without ANY knowledge... He doomed the Mustang Mach E BEFORE he tested it... He tested it, he NOW believes Ford will survive and continue to be Big 3. He doomed Tesla too at one time... As much as I like him, I thought he was a blowhard then, and with this, I think he continues to be a blowhard and full of himself... Its a shame that half of the Beatles are dead. Just as I was finding out who the Beatles were and what they meant, Lennon was murdered. Tiganites and loukoumades are very very similar. In all honesty, I think one is a variation of the other. Tiganites being flat and individually being of different size and shape and usually bigger than loukoumades and loukoumades being made round and more uniform to each other. And I was thinking more of loukoumades rather than tiganites to be honest. My aunt used to make tiganites and my mom loukoumades. I definitely preferred the loukoumades. Been awhile... Looks like @trinacriabob is more Greek than I am at this point. LOL

Krispy Kreme glazed donuts are the best! Dunkin' Donuts strawberry filled donuts are a close second. Well, the ones that I tasted and ate in the 70s and 80s at least. Tim Hortons Donuts suck BIG TIME!!! I am not a big donut guy. We only have 1 Krispy Kreme location and its far from where I work and live. It was near my mother-n-law's house. But she passed away a couple of years ago so I dont visit that area anymore. Therefore I dont eat donuts anymore. There is a Greek equivalent called τιγανίτες. English spelling tiganites. Its fried dough smothered in honey. Sesame seeds are optional. Those I die for. Unfortunately my wife REFUSES to make me. Since my mom and mother-n-law passed away, I have no where to go and eat them anymore. There is a place called MR. Puffs in the Montreal region that makes tiganites. There is an outlet near my restaurant. I just havent had the desire to go. I miss my mom and mother-n-law.

Hi! My name is Oldshurst and I am an automotive bigot. All CUVs look the same to me...therefore I judge them to be all the same. I also HATE them all!!! I wish they could all burn to the ground. I am NOT for a more diverse automotive universe. I prefer the automotive world to be car based coupes, sedans and convertibles while REAL SUVs should be relegated to work shops and off-roading. Hauling stuff around should be done in pick-up trucks and fullsized vans and if we need to haul families around, sedan based wagons should be the ONLY way. We could stretch that to vans and minivans. Biased reasoning that will make it seem that batteries are dirtier than gasoline or batteries are cleaner than gasoline depending on what spectrum the reasoning lies on. In some cases, its that. However, if the world's engineers could decide on a future where compatibility of recycling batteries could be achieved, then it could be a cleaner future and a very interesting one at that... If we DO accept and adopt EVs as our method of every day transport, and THAT happens to NOT be the answer, then we shall course correct and find another way. But we DO have to STOP fossil fuel usage to adopt a new way. RIGHT NOW. If batteries is a short term solution, then so be it. We shouldnt be afraid to course correct every time a solution happens to NOT be the right way. Batteries, you will find, on the greater scheme of things, do pollute LESS than fossil fuels do. When you do your own research from ALL the biased places from all equations, and you read up on all the possible technology that batteries, electricity, charging networks using solar power etc, you will see for yourself that electricity and batteries have a great potential to change our way of living. For the better. Take batteries as a second life. Install used batteries in your house. Use solar power to recharge these batteries. Use batteries to power your home. No need to be on the grid for too long. The grid has a blackout, no need for a generator as your home will have batteries to power your home. And the possibilities are endless.. Already, EV F150s, as Ford is tooting around, that in case of an emergency, the truck itself could work to power your home in case of a blackout... Tesla's often laughed at Powerwall. Well, second life batteries started as an idea BECAUSE of Tesla's Powerwall technology... Keep in mind we are still learning about electricity. We are still learning how to create it, how to better distribute it, how to harness it... Maybe we us a species will find that miracle energy source that will power every thing, for free and wont pollute. Until then, we will have to course correct for slightly better solutions, small steps at a time going forward in our future for our existential survival. Batteries is this next small step forward. Just my opinion. But my opinion is NOT based on anti-anything or pro-anything. Im pro batteries, yes. But its not because Im a tree huggin. car hatin' green guy hippy. Im pro battery because batteries and electricity have the potential to be THAT utopia solution. But Im also not bound to that principle. The research to come to a conclusion on your own is exhausting. YOU will have to do it on your own though. Take it all in. Its worth it.

Which I have stated MANY times. Point is... When ALL things are equal, with EQUAL CUVs and equivalent sedans, the CUV will have a HIGHER chance of a roll over. Why? Physics. CUVs are taller. I said it plenty times. No matter how you wanna dissect it. Its PHYSICS... A higher center of gravity vehicle will have a higher risk of a roll over than a lower gravity one. Its physics. And by the GIFS I posted, by the looks of it, CUVs, it doesnt take much to roll them over no matter what electronic gizmos have been implemented to mitigate roll overs. Why? Physics takes over...time and time again. Physics will ALWAYS take over. Argue until the cows come home. Physics will always win an argument like this. CUVs and SUVs have a high center of gravity. They have a higher chance of a roll over making them NOT safer than their equivalent sedan counterparts. MANY technological advancements have been made to mitigate this. But, whatever electronic techno wizardry have been installed to CUVs have also been installed in sedans too making THAT technological advnacement for CUVs a moot point. Well, confirmation bias maybe at play here. Plenty of false narrative publications of why CUVs and SUVs are safer than sedans are abundant. And the sweeping the white elephant under the rug thing as well. Many have adopted CUVs, so to ignore the obvious and downplay the obvious as to feel better about one's purchase is what is mainly happening here...
