    Thing Was Did

Lol it looks like nothing special under there. It looks identical to the 2.0T and I'm pretty sure the 1.5T in the Escape as well. I used to prefer all black but the last couple of years I've fallen in love with browns. I prefer darker rather than a tan. Almost any color looks good as long as it is mixed with a good contrasting color, imo.

    Thing Was Did

Thank you very much! I'm pretty dang stoked about it so far. I was originally looking for 2017 Escape Titaniums and just randomly looked at MKCs assuming they would be too pricey but 2016's were about the same price. 2017 Escape's got the upgraded 2.0T and refreshed body and in 2016 MKC and Escape got Sync3 and those were musts for me for either vehicle. Thanks! The dark brown is tits to me, love that.
  3. Well, I finally found what I’ve been looking for, in my price range. This past Saturday I picked up a 2016 Lincoln MKC. 37,460 miles, $21,000, 2.3T engine with AWD. Upgraded real leather seats in dark brown and cream that I absolutely love. It had auto-high beams that I was skeptical about how well they flip off then back on and they’re surprisingly fantastic. As soon as any headlights show up in front of my they flip off, be it just over a hill or a mile ahead of me. Neat. Classic Ford, I already have to hit up my local dealership because the exterior thermostat is reading waaaay off(like -35F) therefor also throwing off the temp thst throws out the HVAC. It’s still under warranty and if it wasn’t I’d be dealing with the dealership I bought it from, well I’m doing that anyway incase it becomes lemon-worthy. I want them to know about it right away. They also legally had to instal the front plate bracket.. they said they were going to do it and I asked them not to but because IL is a front plate state they weren’t allowed to let it leave without the bracket on. I’m going to see if they drilled the bumper or if it was mounted through the grille this weekend to see if I can take it off.
  4. Lincoln doesn’t even use a N/A V6 in the MKZ. It’s a 2.0T, 3.0T or 2.0T hybrid.
  5. I never said they were "just a Silverado". If youi're going to quote me, just quote what I actually said. Yes, I know all of this. It's a completely redressed up Silverado the same way the Expedition is a completely redressed F150.
  6. Bad? I never said any of them were bad. Every Escalade ever has been built on the Silverado's chassis. I never said anything negative about the Escalade, just that it was a dressed up Silverado, because it is. I never said they used Dollar General lipstick. They're using fancy lipstick from MAC.
  7. I mean, nothing I said wasn't accurate...
  8. Oh I definitely agree. I'm just saying that the Escalade is the perfect example of putting lipstick on a pig. A 30k pickup truck dressed up to a 100k luxury SUVs. People say all SUVs are just lifted cars... THIS is exactly that.
  9. Lipstick on a pig.. You own an Escalade.
  10. It's about time they start to ditch the 3.6. ??
  11. That is such a generic shape on 90% of cars' rear door..
  12. I still don't see it at all and I'm trying to look for it now. I think you need your morning coffee. So this is the area you're talking about? "Rear upper door frame"
  13. I'm seeing zero Ion as well.
  14. I see Redbox has it. I may have to grab it tonight. The GF and I almost always rent a movie for Friday nights. This should do.
  15. I haven't, yet. I very much intend to though.
  16. Those are useful for modifying and repairs but that's about it. They've pretty much gone the way of the dodo bird. I don't even need to write a joke for this one! Cadillac writes it themselves.
  17. Cadillac's current tagline: Rise Above. " Rise Above the mainstream brands, but only barely. Check out our fancy Chevy's. "
  18. Casa probably should insult AMG and M cars because he doesn't own them nor have any intent to own them.
  19. "Take an average leap into mediocrity. Test drive our CUVs today!" They dared greatly before they made that slogan. Since then... no such daring moves. The last time Cadillac dared to be great was in 2015 when the current Escalade came to market or in 2016 when they crammed a 640hp supercharged V8 into a family sedan only available with RWD.
  20. This is one hell of an excuse. Dare Greatly, Cadillac does not.
