Bad? I never said any of them were bad. Every Escalade ever has been built on the Silverado's chassis. I never said anything negative about the Escalade, just that it was a dressed up Silverado, because it is. I never said they used Dollar General lipstick. They're using fancy lipstick from MAC. -

Oh I definitely agree. I'm just saying that the Escalade is the perfect example of putting lipstick on a pig. A 30k pickup truck dressed up to a 100k luxury SUVs. People say all SUVs are just lifted cars... THIS is exactly that. -

"Take an average leap into mediocrity. Test drive our CUVs today!" They dared greatly before they made that slogan. Since then... no such daring moves. The last time Cadillac dared to be great was in 2015 when the current Escalade came to market or in 2016 when they crammed a 640hp supercharged V8 into a family sedan only available with RWD.

Yeah, that's a very good point. While Lincoln has done a lot wrong in the past decade..or three.. Eliminating some of the badging on the back of the MKC is nice. They got rid of the "ecoboost"badge and I believe that was done across their lineup, I just haven't looked.

Also, 271 ft-lb = 367 Nm. I think rounding up by that much is also ridiculous.. Everything else has forced induction, right? Oh I forgot about the N/A 6.2 in the 'Slade.

This is stupid. Not quite as stupid as Audi's new naming scheme but it's pretty terrible. If they'd just ditch the n/a 3.6 they could stick to the old school displacement number.
