  1. I agree that more options is always welcomed but it seems like an odd thing to make an option. I don't know much about the GM system but does it default to on or off when you turn the vehicle on? Does it retain the setting for the next time you start the vehicle?
  2. Yeah, if it is compared to those it sells very poorly. E Class/CLS: 46,424 5 Series: 43,937 I agree it is expensive buuuuut a CT6 3.6 + AWD starts at 54,990.
  3. Ahhh okay, I get them mixed up as I'm not much of a Lexus fan. Thank you!
  4. Yeah, I was just sticking to the vehicles mentioned but that Lincoln has been selling disappointingly as well. I don't know much about Lexus/Toyota, is the LS a rebadged Avalon?
  5. ^ That was per goodcarbadcar.com's numbers.
  6. I was curious so I had to look them up... CT6: 9,669 7 Series: 8,271 S Class: 14,978 A7: 3,852 A8: 1,599 ? Nearly 10,000 units of CT6 isn't bad at all entering a segment the S Class owns and is very established.
  7. Exactly, these expensive trims with base engines just don't sell. Nobody spending that kind of coin wants a little 2.0T engine in their luxury barge.
  8. That's how STL is run as well.. It's a really weak effort, for the most part. I go when I can but there is rarely anything truly NEW there. I remember two vehicles that stood out to me before they were on dealer lots and one was the Challenger and the other was the 2019 Ram 1500.
  9. They also make it public that they're making the changes. I don't recall Ford, GM, Mercedes, or anybody else making these kinds of press releases three or four times a year. That seems so absurdly stupid that it's funny to me.
  10. I would agree. I was just stating that while he thought the ML fit what was being discussed didn't really fit his description of "full-size". I think what @balthazar said as "first influential" would be a better describer than "first ever" for a lot of things. I still do not think the ML fits that, fwiw.
  11. They are ALL OVER THE PLACE with their pricing. In the last year, I feel like they've adjusted prices three or four times.
  12. I didn't realize this didn't already have AWD.
  13. He did mention full-size though. ML is a luxury SUV but it isn't full-size.
  14. They could do the off-road thing too. Those don't need some monster motor crammed in there.
  15. Get on your General boys to do this. Their CUV lineup is as bland as anybody else's. No CUV as a high performance street version and no CUV has a high performance off-road version.
  16. Like he already said, "Such a slow news day today. hardly anything to write about."
  17. At the very least 2018 but it should have been the same year or a model year earlier than a Ford.
  18. Random Ford Lincoln fact... Them doing crap like this is what has helped hold Lincoln back. Hopefully since the Navigator and Aviator they've turned a new page buuuuut Ford released an upgraded 2.0T for the Escape, Edge, MKX, MKC, and Fusion but in 2017 the Escape for the new engine and the MKC is just getting the update in 2019. relatively minute changes but a twin scroll replaced the single scroll for a 5hp/5tq bump but throttle response was supposed to have been improved. Isn't this the kind of thing that should start in the Lincolns THEN spread to Fords if Lincoln is supposed to be the premier company? ??‍♂️
  19. That'll also get one engine choice and you guessed it, n/a 3.6. That'll be anther show stopper!
  20. Let us hear how cramped the interior is on the XT5. Just kidding, it's a GM. You don't trash it. You don't have the nuts to be honest about it. ?
  21. Boy -o-boy, I cannot wait for another rehashed GM SUV.
  22. Beautiful car.
  23. Zero chance 15-20k is paid off in 3-5 years. You're on drugs if you think an EV version of the same vehicle can pay itself off in 3-5 years. The owner won't even use 15-20k in gas. 15000 miles/year 15mpg $2.40/gallon $7200-$12000. I would think 15,000 miles/year is about worse case scenario with an electric work van, too.
