  3. Heck, BMW doesn't even have ONE all-electric truck or SUV to compete with Rivian.
  4. They're new. They can't initially drop a 6 vehicle lineup. The point was just that they offer two vehicles out of the gate, both of which are HUGE selling body styles here in the US, NOT a sedan. I guess, technically they have a work van as well.

  8. Also, what's going on with the rotor and two calipers, on what looks like the front? I assumed that was the parking brake but isn't that always on the rear? I guess with the damage it could still be the rear.

  12. 100%. It would be too late to do so now but if they developed an EV version, I'd be all for it. Heck, even 5 years ago would have been plenty fine. A Mustang wasn't a "AWD 4-dr SUV" either, until they made one. Why, would it make you not buy one? ?
  13. I could me mistaken, but GM has the most generic CUV/SUV lineup of any company. Nobody has a more bland and boring lineup. The only ones that stand out at the big boys in the Tahoe, 'Burban, 'Slade.

  15. Then you don't think very hard. I didn't say "sports car SUV". "sporty" is not the same. Kind of like a sporty station wagon. I know that's a concept you understand.
  16. I don't think you're understanding how branding within a corporation can and does work.
  17. Mustang was a model as well, until it was a brand and they made a specific model based off the name. Based on that logic, why ever make a sporty SUV? I mean, "most" are just driven daily to and from work and Walmart. I'd even wager "most" Corvettes aren't driven all out every time either. Why even make the Corvette?
  18. General Motors has zero RWD-based SUV's that compete with high end sporty SUVs. In fact, GM has zero sporty SUVs across all 17 brands. Correct, and Chevy had no Corvette until they made the Corvette. That's exactly how things work.
  19. I still see zero issues with a Corvette-branded SUV sitting along side a Corvette. Make it Cayenne-sized and competitive and it would sell like hot cakes.
  20. Corvette is already a brand of its own as they don't even put Chevrolet badges on the car.
  21. I'd be okay with a Corvette-branded SUV as long as they keep the 2-seater as well.

  23. ...what...? It's not hard once you're building up internals and drivetrain parts for 1000hp. They're already known to snap half shafts running bone stock so there's a starting point.
  24. Street racing or unsanctioned racing the Plaid would look even better, because unprepped surfaces. As we already know though, whatever they're selling now need more than just a trans brake. 45k in mods and you have an unreliable vehicle and a Plaid can "do it all".
  25. Correct but it's kind of a goal post move when you say this after also saying there's constant one-upping each other, except Dodge has eliminated their quickest car. Regardless, a Model S Plaid pretty well whoops anything from a factory showroom, including Dodge's 800hp+ machines. I love big V8 power but the Demon was kind of a joke. From what I've read, rarely can owners actually get into the 9's and to do so, you have to then make your car illegal on the streets, eliminating a lot of the cool-factor, imo. So take a Demon, and how much needs to get dumped into it to beat a Plaid? I'd assume it'll fall about in line with what a Plaid costs.
