  1. Exactly. All they need to do is sell the slow speed maneuverability of the vehicle and it'll sell accordingly. That is all that is needed from four wheel steering.
  2. The thing is, neither is *actually* comparable to what both make for home theaters and they're GREATLY restricted to what the auto manufacturer will allow. My point was just the statement, "Having it in a Grand Wagoneer does take it to the Luxury Level that even Mercedes has not met yet." Is complete BS.
  3. You do realize they're not putting a single component from their home theater setups in a Jeep, right? Unless you've sat in a 2020+ S-Class with the specific system optioned, you haven't heard the system I linked above. Bose has always had very, VERY below average car audio. Nobody I've talked to in peson or online has thought they were anything worthwhile in automobiles. They were better than the none-Bose systems but that's about it.
  4. And we wonder why Mercedes is always brought up here... I think you're just playing ignorant if you don't think what the S Class offers is top notch for an OEM. From what I've read, Mercedes' Burmester 4D system will blow away what'd offered in the GC L. https://www.burmester.de/en/Automotive/S-Class/ "The Burmester High-End 4D Surround Sound System for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class is another jointly achieved milestone on this journey. Functionally, the High-End 4D Surround Sound System enhances the previous system by incorporating structure-borne sound transducers, so-called exciters, into the seat. This specially developed solution makes it possible to perceive the rhythms of the music not only through the ears, but through the entire body, which represents a completely new sound experience in the automobile. The music experience, which is now also transmitted to the body in a tangible way, is additionally enhanced by the personalization function. Freely adjustable parameters can be used to create a sound profile adapted to the user's own preferences. Subsequently, 31 high-performance loudspeakers and eight exciters with 1,750 watts of sine wave power provide the all-encompassing sound experience. Surround speakers integrated into the front seats optimize the surround sound for the driver and front passenger. Clear voice reproduction during phone calls also benefits from these speakers positioned closer to the ear. Visually, emphasis has been placed on creating a fully integrated experience, where the design of the system blends seamlessly with the vehicle's interior and its UX."
  5. 10.5% battery loss at 400,000 miles seems phenomenal if you ask me.
  6. It's certainly inevitable that people will street race more with less tracks to go to. People with their "itch" to race and "stretch their car out" are still going to find a place to race. I'm not saying they should, but they will.
  7. I think he means it was built and sourced from a 3rd party but still assembled onto the trucks on their regular assembly lines.
  8. I'm about to hit 30,000 miles of driving my MKC(approaching 67,000) and I don't think I've owned a vehicle this long since my first car (1995 Beretta Z26). In all fairness, I intended on keeping my Escape for a long time before a lady blew a red light. I then intended on keeping my Focus for a long time before the dual clutch transmission was too much of a piece of sht that I knew I would eventually have to spend serious money on it once it was out of warranty. So hopefully I keep the MKC for awhile and add a 3rd vehicle to the house.
  9. https://www.motortrend.com/news/ctc-boulder-teardrop-camping-trailer-ev-battery/ An interesting option to increase range while towing.
  10. Damn, it would have been cool if they would have bought an old Chrysler plant that's been closed for probably a decade now, located in the St Louis area. Before I even clicked "submit reply" I had to look it up and it's been tore down and it's just a massive vacant lot. It would still have been cool if they built a new plant there. It is a 295 acre lot, 5 million sq ft building.
  11. Yeah, neither is SMK!
  12. "Um, not a fan boy, ..."
  13. That's because you're a fanboy and not objectively looking at the two companies' competitive offerings. Also, nothing Cadillac makes competes with Toyota-branded vehicles.
  14. Come to think of it, I'm not sure if there is a GM vehicle that I would take over the comparable Toyota other than the Silverado and Tahoe(if the Sequoia is that large to compare).
  15. If this was an EV-only thing, it would make sense. But to double tax those with gasoline engines seems like such BS.
  16. I certainly agree AAAAAND it worked out very well. It only added to the Tesla hype.
  17. Why type out "quarter century" instead of "25"? Also, who says something came out "almost a quarter century ago"? ?
  18. I just REALLY wish the hybrid would be optional with AWD. That's really the only thing I don't like about the vehicle, otherwise i could see myself in one as well.
  19. Northwest St Louis area, eh? What town/city? I'm 45 minutes east of STL in Highland.
  20. Yeah, I'm quite certain people didn't stop buying coupes and convertibles because they're powered by an ICE.
  21. Yeah, surrounded by crap plastic and fake wood, very 2003. the vehicle looks 15-20 years old while the screen looks like its from 2021. I do not like that mashup, personally.
  22. I'm not trying to change your point, just mentioning a publicized reason in which Mercedes is taking so long to complete their super car.
  23. The top one is great and fits in and looks OE. ✅ The second one, while it looks like a nice piece of hardware, does not look like it belongs there. That's what I don't like.
