  1. My brother in law just got a Versa....and rides quite nice....
  2. He has kids... Unless he plans to tie them to the roof.... :AH-HA_wink:
  3. Sounds like you have to same problem I have GMTG74.....the wife has Vibe on the brain... :AH-HA_wink: I was not impressed with the earlier model....I would drop the trans driving it... The only car that comes close with her is the Nox... Then my wife drove the 2009 Vibe...and she just about drools over it.... Vibe on the brain again... Problem is that now....is.....now... *looks around* ...I kinda like it myself.... (puts on flame suit) I just drove a 1.8 with her...kinda sporty....more peppy... Small wheels make it kinda look like a blob though...... I had to pick up a part at the dealership...wife wanted to see the 2.4 I mentioned...so I test drove one.... The extra 20 poines help...Wow. Wheels set it off nice....it handles quite well ( i just about KO'ed the salesguy making a quick turn.. :AH-HA_wink: ) Unless I can impress her with something else soon.....it looks like her next car will be a Vibe. Go ahead, flame away about it be a Toyota twin....I just want to give GM another sale.... Me? That Cobalt replacement does sound interesting....
  4. Agreed on keeping the Caddy... HHR or Vibe would be the way to go...both have room, are peppy, and are good on gas......
  5. Keep Chevy and Caddy and offer special models?
  6. Well, after looking at theit 80s compacts (j body) (Chevette), I could see why they gave it a try... Hondas and Toyotas of those years (85-92) were very solid cars...and even GM knew that toward the end of the 80s.... Granted they didn't set the sales chart on fire, but I still see quite a few Prisms out there, some with plenty of miles... And the Vibe has done pretty well.... I see two reasons here: 1. They get to see how Toyota does cars (building them) 2. They can pick off a few shoppers who otherwise may not have chose a GM car at all. Knowing that Toyota had a hand in their car might help them sleep better at night.....
  7. There you go...

    HEAT!

You had to post that right now, didn't you? :AH-HA_wink: Man, now I really want a banana split....
  10. Yep. Speaking of whining (quite a few pages of that), I see a missing point here- Why can't pontiac have a little of everything? Oh, I forgot, since Pontiac isn't going to have a line up of GTOs and RWD cars, there is just no point to them then. Why can't a G8 share a showroom floor with a G3? Why can't a fwd G6 and a G5 pay to bring us a few overseas goodies? While I don't want to sound mean, you guys get my point. Pontiac needs a few cars to help pay the bills..and the more bills paid, the better chance that we might to get to enjoy some V8 goodies before CAFE goes really crazy........ While I would like to see Pontiac as a performance brand, in these new times, that is not going to happen any more... The one thing that I do like is that GM's new platforms will allow them to offer a little more personality in their cars... So they won't just be some simple 90s rebadge......
  11. That's when I tell them you can run over more greenies that way... You could probably hit most of those tint cars in the parking lot and still drive the Impy away... I think I am going to keep the cobalt (I thought about trading it in on our next car) just to commute, then I can get whatever car I want, regardless of gas milage....
  12. Man, if I had a few bucks right now...I must say I like it...
