  2. There's always a way to mitigate this. That's my belief. Where there's a will, there's a way.
  3. Not so much with the car. I HATE when someone moves and leaves the license plate frame from a dealer in another area. When I lived on Seattle's Eastside, I saw a Ford Explorer with Washington plates and a license plate frame that said: Santa Clarita Valley - Magic Ford. What a dork!

  5. Yep, it's been mid 80s with a fair bit of humidity in South Florida.
  6. I had the chance to go about 6 years in Northern California. I declined. Girls that had NEVER done it before went. I'm sorry, that's too stupid of a thrill to risk bodily harm. Heck, you could even get messed up when you land.

Don't like it. It's stodgy. It's NOT what Buick needs. Invicta was a little racier, at least. But then, GM is known to make dumb decisions.

  9. Isn't it amazing how that happens?I've found that even the CAP*s can get into put into this category. (* = Catholic American Princess). And as far as being "good girls", those can go 2 ways: (1) frigid, or (2) vamp.

  11. That won't be happening. Like I said, it's my badly awaited vacation.

  13. I've only hit a squirrel and a kitten. The latter was kind of sad. It was raining in Portland OR (so what else is new) and these little black kittens just blended in with the wet pavement. It was too late. I had already nailed one. I heard the thump. The sad part was that it was down the street from my Mom's and I drove up and down that street a lot. A dog is harder. If it's any consolation, you didn't mean to do it. They're not as smart as we are. That's why some become casualties of the automobile.

  16. Yeah, Nick, an FBI and So. Cal. person -- HAPPY BIRTHDAY greetings from South Florida as I am "enjoying" the humidity. From an F.B.S. as you would say J/K -
  17. You bet me to it, Ocn! My topic was going to be "CHARGERINO IS A TEEN-A-RINO" Happy birthday, Charge! Enjoy and give your parents a break. I could image that being your parent would be somewhat of a CHALLENGE. HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!!!!
  18. It looks like there's a Denver boot up front. Besides that, I guess I don't get the joke.

  22. Why? I liked it better the old way.
  23. Yeah, the Pasadena is LA's oldest freeway with narrow lanes and ridiculously short ramps. We disagree on the pedestrian areas. Hollywood is ok and the footprints at the Chinese theather are cool. It's also an opportunity to take the Metro subway out the Universal CityWalk. Westwood Village IS nice. It's Santa Monica that I can't stand. A few blocks off the Promenade and it's gross. BH is just plain boring, once off Rodeo, there's nothing else unless you're in the car and you want to see nice homes. I would include some walking in the Manhattan / Hermosa / Redondo Beach areas. I would also throw in Laguna...if you can find parking.
