we do know the resale will uphold on this thing with the buzz its been getting. so it would be worth getting over an Aveo, its that much nicer. Although, a loaded sport, at 18-19k is hard to make nice for when it only has 120hp. At least give the sport an engine option, 150-160hp.

most average citizens and car users will prefer fwd feel to rwd, rwd is tail happy. fwd front heaviness to a point is a positive, it makes the front end 'feel secure', esp in wet weather. i am ok with front drive if the weight balance is decent and not 'nose heavy'. tires make a difference. a well set up fwd car feels as good to me and any rwd car i've driven.

great writeup blu.... "hangten" awwwwwww stop it. I really am not a Honda fan but I respect them. I would buy a Fit, but I wish it had more HP. For me what makes this car attractive as heck is the utility. Like blu, I may go test drive one meself. Did the engine drone at freeway speeds? What were the rpms at 70-80mph? I am a complete sucker for space utilization in a vehicle. I would buy this thing for the magic seats alone. And ten cupholders. Will we get an Acura rebadge? LOL

well satty, why didn't you tell me? My dad just traded his sweet great condition pristine 66 a couple weeks ago. fully functional. drives great all of that. he paid 3k last fall and essentially got 5k back for it when he traded it a couple weeks ago. made a killing. He said he got rid of it because mom didn't want to ride in it. she didn't like it sitting so low and open....maybe she's a crossover fan...LOL

August 2008 Sales: Ford Motor Company

yes, i was being tongue in cheek....... -
if i wanted to hear a bunch of bitching i would go stand next to a bunch of ladies at work. this is fine. the concept was cool but was anyone dingbat enough to think it would survive intact? lest ye bitch again, keep in mind the new camaro is damn close to the concept. which would you rather have volt be a concept clone or the camaro? thought so. b pillars aside. truth- the version you see in these new photos is a lot more salable to the general public and will have a much longer shelf life. more aerodynamic also. did y'all hear...CAFE will demand the Aero age to come back again. another thing, was the concept designed for the proportions of the delta architecture? prob not. the prod version is. parting shot, this thing is still much more pleasant then the alien spawn prius (no satty, 2 prius does not guarantee access to the alien leader). You figured you would outdo my aztek with one prius but please don't jump off the cliff and get two. just get a civic hymenbrid to get with the prius and that will be enough to pay for your sins.

honda quality. bank on it. c'mon, lets get real. the only reason the CRV got popular was women and effiminate male buyers. Subaru defectors, Accord defectors, granola, flannel, fluffy psyches, most CRV buyers (while all the sales count and all of that) are in a bunch that definitely you would not consider having 'discerning tastes in automobiles' much less possess the ability to separate analytical skills from blind sided emotion and follower mentality. low mpg on big honda four bangers is not a surprise. after i got the aztek, i consulted a coworker who had just got an element. he was getting 20-23 most of the time. no torque so i suppose you gotta buzz it. a current cowrker confirmed the same, not ever above 25, in the low the mid twenties HIGHWAY. my 500 has been seeing near 23 in stop and go this summer FCOL. new taurus is supposed to get equal or better with 100hp more than the whirring little CRV. why can't any of these cute utes from Asia get any decent mpg? they just had a Kia Rondo long term wrap up on motorweek web site....it could barely crack 20 mpg. -
man this thread is about as dull as the constant 'how GM should reorganize its brands and models' threads on GMI..........nsap mgescuro, all of that.

sorry, you're right. the M.

I don't think there is an AMURCHAN citizen out there that doesn't have this dash design engrained deep in the recesses of their brain. The old Buick plywood dash is as glorious now as it was then. this looks like a nice car. brings back ton o memories.......

well, you know, i'm not exactly sure what prompted her to do it to be honest with you. it seemed to really stoke her to get attention that way. the only thing i can think of ok, two things. one, maybe a teacher or something did that in her past. second, maybe she really liked the idea of squatting down and squirming on a young **** groin. i'm not lying, she would slowly sit down on you and then wiggle around and then just sit there to make an example of you while everyone else got their chuckles. thing is, for a woman she had a really hot figure. she was hot enough that all the guys would talk about her looking FiNe. she was really churchy and i can say with certainty she would never have attempted to seduce any students. But i think in some way what she was doing fulfilled some kind of function in her life, she needed a charge, to feel in control, maybe that was her nasty fantasy and that was as far as she could take it without crossing the line. Maybe when she got home, she had fantasies about taking on the football team IYKWIM but she knew it was definitely wrong, so maybe that sitting on laps thing was as daring as she could go to stoke her inner buzz. If she were to do that today, 25 years later, i am not sure she would be able to get away with it. I had mentioned earlier i didn't have to take math in college. Now I am thinking about this, maybe it would have been nice to have her as a private TA / tutor for some remedial math skills, when i was say, oh.......20.

Lutz said none of the lambdas are going away. i agree, the saturn is the best. the saturn is the one i would get if i got a lambada. that said, the traverse is nice enough that it improves what chevy is selling.

http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/miniva...rive/index.html the 4.0 is a good engine! Not sure DSG is needed in a minivan.

yup, i heard that vw wants to cheapen its product too. sound familiar? VW wants to be the top volume maker and it sounds like that they will whore themselves out to do it. in the meantime, i think the routan looks like a desriable minivan...to a point....anyone who sees the 7-8k discounts on the Chrysler vans will not want to pop for these..... i am interested in seeing what these lease for. If VW is desperate to sell them if they don't move.......chrysler has massive rebates and cheap financing. also, VW does not have the same warranty. in the end, the style changes will determine its desirability over the dodge and chrysler. I was just looking at the spec sheet. Rear air is not available on the S. Big mistake. If you want the 4.0 you need to get leather, bigger mistake. Since VW is a premium brand they really should have just stuck with the 4.0 for all models. To pit the 3.8 vs. the Odyssey and speedy Sienna is a bad move. I would have two trim levels. A base, well appointed, with power packages and entertainment packages available. Then, the loaded, with everything and just make sunroofs and high tech navs optional. We have taken 3 trips now i think or 2 with the new Taurus X, it has a lot of room but not as much cargo space as the Aztek. In the past I have lamented on occasion the lack of space for cargo in the Aztek. I read a review of the CX-9 recently where the writer said the CX-9 was pretty much useless as a family trip vehicle because there was no cargo capability. It makes me wonder if or more like when, the pendulum will swing and allow minivans to be ok to drive again. I think someone besides Toyota will need to offer AWD....and they all need to bring the girth down. I could see some success with this vehicle if they repackage the models, scrap the 3.8. I know that even though this is a Dodge, if it had a VW badge on it with the redone front and rear I think it looks quite nice. Most of the offerings in this segment are pretty old. Kia can't give Sedonas away right now at 17 grand.
