  1. Why mess with the interior? That's the best part about the Insigina. Honestly you could bring the whole car here and it would be fine, unless they were to make the front end a bit more aggressive...I'd be all for that. Dumbing down the car for this market does not a segment killer make.
  2. It's not much of a poll without an actual poll. The blends are useless, as you get rid of all of the advantages of full synthetic by mixing it with dino oil. Go Mobil1 and never look back. It's actually better to do it sooner than later because as cars get older the seals get older, and syntheic will find any leak. Which is why our cars just stick to the dino juice, since they're all near the 200k mark.
  3. Maybe because it is ugly? Honestly, Acura's best grill experiement was the MDX, which I rather liked. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, it just seems you have no problem with the styling of any of the new Hondas. You still haven't told us what driving the car has to do with how it looks.
  4. That reminds me, I saw one of those big car haulings carring a full load of Tacomas of that year range on teh highway last week. Off to the scrapper I guess, so no one will ever know. That's just retarded how anyone could not only put a positive spin on this, but claim that Toyotas better than GM...for apparently havingt o quietly recall the trucks which they couldn't build right teh first time.
  5. I feel obligated to post some photos from Autoblog, including the SS
  6. I'm suprised you put allow Sofia in the car, what with it being a hardtop and all. You do know that if a wadded-up paper ball were to hit the roof it would completely collapse under the extreme forces because of the lack of a B-pillar, killing all inside. And yeah, tinting the windows of a hardtop
  7. Now why does that sound familiar? That's exactly what I thought when I saw it too. It does look pretty nice in real world photos...I like the red one.
  8. Suggest she buy that then. If she's really hurting for gas she could maybe drive less, ride a bike, walk, buy a cheap small used car, or something like that. If she can afford the new ca I would think gas prices wouldn't be that huge of an issue. People shouldn't have to give up what they love and settle for something else they know they don't really want because gas is a whole dollar more. I mean seriously...spending thousands on a new car...do you really want to look at it everyday and sigh a little because deep down that's not what you really wanted?
  9. Who said anything about driving dynamics? How it drives has nothing to do with how it looks. The only part of the front that's camo'd is the badge, and I'm pretty sure the small, circular badge will not drastically change the overall appearance of the front end of that thing... Nope, still hideous.
  10. Hey Satty, not sure if you use FireFox, but there's a neat add-on that, when you open a new tab or a new window, will show thumbnails of I think it's 9 websites of your choice. So whenever you open it you can quickly choose between your favorite sites or most visited, and seeing a thumbnail of a weather website might help you remember to check the weather. I forget the name of the add-on, I can check when I get home.
  11. Clean out your inbox so people like me an PM you.
  12. Except, unless I missed it, the don't have an animated, interactive radar map that shows. Plus the site looks like ass.
  13. www.weather.com No thanks are necessary.
  14. A little late to the party are we?
  15. Agreed about the Vigor, I alsways liked the porportions of that car. Anyway, the front is neat but the rest is hit or miss. It kinda has that overall jellybean look to it like the Tarus did in `96.
  16. You should come by and actually show it to me Sixty8
  17. Sixty8, a voice of reason? Hell hath froze over! I agree 100%
  18. So on Sunday I was on my way to the store when a bunch of ricers (like 5 or 6) were heading the opposite way toward downtown Lawrence. I thought it was odd but thought nothing of it. Later that day I was driving through the downtown area when I see in one of the huge mill parking lots that there was a car show. I have never seen Lawrence host one, and of course, this one and only car show is almost if not entirely ricers. 5-foot wings and cheesy paint jobs as far as the eye could see. It was disgusting...makes me hate this city even more. However it was all worth it because of what I saw a few hours later. We had a severe thunderstorm that caused flash flooding. Several streets had become lakes. I came across one and decided to cut through the parking off the street and take the side roads. On my way back a riced out, white Celica passed by me on an intersection. Thought nothing of it. As I came back to the lake on my way home, what do I see but that stupid car right in the middle of it with the hazards on! It was hilarious. I stopped the car and laughed for a good 2 minutes, before turning onto a side road. The idiot had tried to cross the mini-lake only to forget that he wasn't driving a Jeep. I went down that street yesterday and saw it sitting in the parking lot...I laughed again. Guess he cracked the block or something. AM I being mean? Maybe, but the retarded should have had the common sense not to try and fly through the flooded street. Moral of the story: god hates ricers.
  19. Fix the Liberty and problem solved.
  20. I don't know how you could even pretend that it might not be so bad. The rear is Aura/Civic coupe and the front is just horrible.
  21. haha, I know. They're both very clean examples.
  22. Some do anyway.
