  1. We looked at one of those a while back. I found them better looking than the next generation...pretty nice inside too for the era. My neighbor had an Outback of that generation...he liekd it besides the power...it was the year before the more powerful engine option became available. People I know who own Subarus love them. My girlfriend's Aunt's, friend has a previous generation Outback wagon 4 cylinder/5-speed and loves it. I road in it a few times...very smooth, quiet and peppy. My favorite is the current generation Outback wagon and Legacy Spec B
  2. I should probably have included that so image, thanks GMT!
  3. For future reference, the next time you do such a thing, kick the guy repeatedly in the goodie bag...he won't get back up to attack you after that.
  4. The front end could use work but overall I like it.
  5. Just read this on Autoblog. It's gonna get ugly.
  6. So we were in Fitchburg looking at a house (which was an interesting story in and of itself). On our way out of the city we passed by a Chevrolet dealership. On the lot was an Equinox FCV. I thought that was both very cool and quite peculiar. I was not expecting to see one of these in person, least of all at a dealership in some unimportant medium-sized city.
  7. I want it so bad! http://www.azclassics.com/phpcars/1181325023/DSC00887.JPG
  8. I would rather walk.
  9. V6 Challenger FTW ocn.
  10. Hah, must be the evening lighting combined with the less than stellar camera. It's champagne.
  11. well now that's lovely. Where do you actually get one of these Fire Panels? The website doesn't seem to show how to get one and how much it costs. Anyway, I'll take some more photos tomorrow, now that she's nice and clean.
  12. Yeah, there's actually a funny story behind those chrome ones. When I find a matching set I'll put them on ASAP. Simple, there were no good ones in the budget. the one car there was ended up being sold the day I called about it. We were looking for Intrepids but none turned up.
  13. Gas is $4.00+ a gallon. People are in a panic to get rid of their trucks and SUVs, desperate to get into a smaller more fuel efficient vehicle, even at the cost of their credit. Scienetists say we are doomed, and the Earth will literally boil and explode in the next year if we don't all start walking, riding bikes, and stop driving the things we love and farting. However, we're bucking the trend. That's right, and the RWD/BOF/V8 fanatics should be proud. Last week we bought a 1993 Mercury Grand Marquis. After a week or so of dealing with the hassle of MA's retarded registration polices we picked up the car on Wednesday. The man we bough it from is quite a character, pretty funny guy, but he was also very nice and prompt about getting the title mess straightened out. We paid $1,000 for it. It's Medium Mocha Clearcoat Metallic (I think)/tan cloth interior. No rust at all. Only some bubbling in 2 places, and some clearcoat fade on the hood, and the frame is rust free. It runs super smooth, shifts great, brakes great, and drives down the road straight as an arrow. A/C is ice cold, and all of the electricals work. The interior is also very clean. here are a few small issues: Driver's seat frame is broken (replaced it today) Passenger window motor died while he was showing us the car..will fix later Needs a passenger side headlight light bulb Someone didn't screw the driver's door panel back on right...will fix tomorrow Parking brake doesn't work I'm very happy with it, and it's cool to have one of these things. Driving it reminds me a lot of the `71 Sedan Deville I drove...right down to the light steering. Here's some photos I snapped today after replacing the seat...gonna go wash it tonight. So all of the greenies can and blow it out their exhaust pipe.
  14. It looks French but that also a really interesting concept.
  15. Wheels are too big, that spoiler is too big, the front fascia looks like it came from the 90's. It could look good, but currently it's a mess.
  16. I don't discriminate, I hate everyone equally.
  17. Do it, if it's that rotted and already on an S-10 chassis, than better to give it another sht at life than to slowly waste away into forgotten oblivion.
  18. I have always liked the current LS. It's a very handsome car. If only it wasn't such an appliance...
  19. Back to the Traverse, I do really like it. I think the styling has warmed up to the point that it's more dynamic than the Outlook or Acadia. It looks very sharp in the awesome deep red Chevy has been using lately. The interior also looks nice, but I hope the production version rectifies the concerns all of the reviewers have had about the actual quality.
  20. It would look better than the Vibe too.
  21. Would think buildoinga ll 3 of those Micro cars would be a good idea. I think the Beat would wear the Pontiac grill nicely, and the Trax would look good next to the HHR, and the Groove would also look good in the Chevy showroom. Add the Corsa to Saturn and you have a good lineup of small, cool little cars.
  22. It's almost bland. It is better looking than the current car, but the tail lights are no very pretty. The interior does nothing for me. It looks similar to any other BMW, and there's no real style to it. Of course it's high quality I'm sure...I wonder what iDrive is like this time around?
  23. how'd you manage that? i didn't think the `09's started production yet, or at least weren't on sale yet.
  24. Except you forget one thing: when Chrysler royally f**ks up, I don't defend it and blame everyone else for the problem. Want examples? (since you obviously never pay attention to any posts I make criticizing them)? The Compass is junk...cheap interior and it looks like @$$. The Sebring is ugly, cheap, and unrefined, the fact that they still haven't found the intelligence to spin off a sedan off of the Caliber platform so they have a small sedan again baffles me, and then there's the cheap interiors throughout the lineup. Then there's the range of powewrtrains that are outdated and outclassed and/or unrefined besides the 4.7 and Hemi V8s...which don't do much good in this era of high gas prices. Basically, with the exception of the LX cars, the new Ram, and the Wrangler, the entire lineup is in sad shape, and the 30% drop in sales reflect that. Of course I'm a Chrysler fan, but unlike some people I'm willing to admit their screw ups, I just don't like pointless, stupid, bashing. Try again.
