  1. How about the `84 Triple burgundy Fleetwood Brougham that runs and looks like it drives with little or no urst, and just needs trim pieces just wasting away?
  2. It looks like ass and is probably less safe than that old Commodore BV posted.
  3. Well, at least the contents of the trunk are safe in the Commodore.
  4. I wonder who that kid in PA could be?
  5. The real problem is factories that aren't being forced to uses cleaner emissions equipment and clean up their act. They dump far more pollutants in the air than cars do, and while cars have become cleaner and more efficient over the years many coal and oil burning factories have not. I recall the Bush administration during the first presidency lifted stricter environmental regulations that were to be imposed on such facilities (you know, in addition to wanting to drill for oil in a wildlife sanctuary in Alaska, one of the few places on earth that hasn't been raped by us). Let's not forget all of the pollution china's facilities dump out either. Naturally all politicians look over this though.
  6. There was one time during my experience with a Cobalt that I had a transmission issue. I had turned off of my street to head to work and was casually driving down the road, but the car wouldn't upshift from 2nd to 3rd. I noticed I was going about 40 mph and it still was in 2nd gear. I tried to get it to shift but to no avail. After I parked it and went on my first delivery 10 minutes later the problem was gonna. That was the only time it happened, but it did worry me a bit.
  7. From what I've heard the 2.7 was retuned for more low-end torque and in the process lost some HP. It did have an even 200 hp in the LH cars. I agree that the 5-speed automatic should at least be optional on the LX's and 6-speed optional on the Sebring/Avenger. Still, the ntire linup of V6's is supposed to be replaced by the Phoenix family V6's so maybe they figure leave them as is until the new engines arrive. TThe Lumina no doubt ways considerably less than the bigger Charger. Most newer cars even in the same size class way more than their predecessors anyway.
  8. Brought to you buy the most dedicated performance arm of GM...and it's not GME. Love it....and apparently they do too.
  9. 3 1 5 Edit... Where'd the gold astra go with the chopped headlights? Since it mysteriously disappeared, my vote changes to 5 1 8

The difference between you and him though are that he's one of the admins who run the site, you'd think he'd at least inform the other staff members. As well, I've got plenty of work with full time classes and a job but I still find the time.
  11. Is it that time of the month already Reg?

  14. It's been a while since I've entered a chopping competition here, count me in.

You do release most if not all of the phone harassment jokes/threats were just that right? Jokes. Most people want to know what's up with Fly because we care. Usually when members aren't going to post for a while they give everyone a heads up anyway.
  16. Duct tape fixes everything WD40 doesn't

Someone give me his number, I'll call him.
  19. And its games filled with sub-par graphics that are barely better than the console it replaces.
  20. It's one-of-a-kind, and it's for Charity. Considering it ita lready pumps out 425 hp it doesn't need a powertrain upgrade. Plus that blue is awesome, so don't knock it.
