GMT900 truck rendering and information
thanks 91z4me I think the only thing I can see being a problem is the new, shorter box for the crew cab. Hopefully they offer a long-bed option.

'07 Camry in white. Not a pretty sight.

Car Spotting
Saw my first Sky parked at a Saturn dealership. It was silver, and it was night, and the lights from overhead were reflecting off of it. Such a beautiful car.

Good thing there were no carpeted staircases along your journey.

"From This Moment On" Commercial
Wow that's old...they were still using "The Power of &" back then. Still, that shot of the Evoq and the '59 Eldo makes me all warm inside.

Test drove HHR 2LT and Malibu MAXX SS
I dunno how much haggling you can do at the Saab dealership, but the 9-3 SportCombi starts at 33 and change for the Aero (V6). I think from what Walt is saying, he's not looking to go over the 25K mark.

Toyota's Highlander Gets Sporty
Truth be told, this is the only Toyota I'd buy if someone poured gas all over me and lit a match. However, I can't help but wonder, is now a good time to mention that a $14K Cobalt comes standard with a CD Player?

Riots In France
Exactly, Fly. Companies know what they have to do to cover themselves. My company likes to take the "build a case against you and fire you" route. For example, where I work, monthly exempt employees have no set schedule. They are expected to spend whatever hours they need to complete their job, and are not tied to the standard 8:30-5 or 8-4:30 schedule. Well, this one guy was a chief of engineering, and he made the mistake of "correcting" one of his superiors. So the supervisor turned around and started documenting what time this guy came in, and showing it in his yearly review. All of a sudden...BAM. The superior shows up, with two site policemen, and tells him to clear out his office and hand over his keys. He was terminated on grounds of tardiness, insubordination, etc...one year before he could retire with full benefits.

Anybody Watch Wrasslin'?
Yeah, Cena's far from my favorite, HHH will probably beat the heck out of him, but he does have an upside...he reminds me a bit of the Rock. I'd actually give him the nod over the mid-80s Hogan. You're right on HBK-McMahon. It'll never be like Austin-McMahon because Michaels doesn't have it in him to retaliate like Stone Cold did. He's shed his "rebel" image since he became a Christian. Cactus Jack is the Smackdown is probably the better wrestling show than Raw. The better entertainers are on Raw, though.

Thank the World Wildlife Fund, who I never heard of until they sued Vince McMahon for the right to use WWF. Speaking of Vince, there's a guy I wouldn't mind CEO-ing my company.

Anybody Watch Wrasslin'?
Everyone knows it's fake, and the WWE knows everyone knows it's fake. Still, it's no less real than any "reality" show out there. And there's no reruns.

Anybody Watch Wrasslin'?
This year looks like it's gonna be pretty good. I might just have to cough up the dough to watch it.

sigs that are just plain too big...
Generally I keep mine at 600x160. AFAIK that's the generally accepted size of a sig on most forums. Making them taller doesn't hurt too much, but side scrolling is a PITA. I haven't had to worry about that since I went to 1280x1024 at home and 1600x1200 (x2) at work, and I have a 1900x1220 laptop. If it really gets to you, you can always turn them off in your control panel.

There's ONE left. In Shirley. Take Sunrise Highway to the William Floyd Parkway south exit (57, I think). Drive less than a block on WFP and it's there on the left. If you hit Montauk Highway you went too far. They were so awesome. We used to get a box of their chicken. They literally blew KFC out of the water.

One More For The Road
Sweet! I love the 70.5-73, sometimes better than the 69. I'm not too thrilled with the supersized cowl-induction style hood, but still that car is in awesome condition. Gotta love the yellow (in more ways than one) Mustang in the background. How apropos

What Would Make A Car Run Hot?
Another bad thermostat? Also, there could be an air bubble in the system that got introduced when you changed the thermostat. That usually happens. Check the coolant level in both the radiator and the overflow jug. Assuming the thermostat is good, run the car to operating temp in the driveway with the radiator cap off. When the thermostat opens you'll see the coolant level in the radiator drop (some will no doubt spill out before this happens). Then pour some more coolant in until its near the top. Finally, put the cap on. When the car cools, the unneeded coolant should go into the overflow jug.

It's a Long Island Rail Road thing. All LIRR trains run from Eastern LI to Penn Station. The major lines all combine at Jamaica before heading into Penn, but if you want to reach Brooklyn or somewhere else in Queens, you have to "change at Jamaica"...this really decrepit old station in a decrepit section of Queens. I've never done it, but even the three minutes that the train sits at Jamaica is too close for comfort for me.
